I doubt he was really with her 24/7 all those years. He wasn't with her for a time when she first moved to the Bahamas, he was gone working on the Marshall case and on other things, he took Daniel places, etc. Having said that, yes, he was her most constant companion. No question about it.
It was always one of the things that intrigued me several years ago and made me curious about both of them.

Birkhead interview in which he speaks about drugs, Daniel and care of the baby:

"The reason I was told she went to the Bahamas was if a baby is born [there] and the mother is a resident, it would be harder for a father who wanted to participate in a baby's life to be able to do so."

It was, of course, in the Bahamas where Anna Nicole's son, DANIEL, died at her bedside. During his time with Anna Nicole, Larry got to know her son, who he says appeared to be a healthy young man.

"He was a great kid," he says. "Never any problems, always fun to be around. We always joked and teased each other and I always found him to be really intelligent. He had a great sense of humor." But, he adds, "I'm not trying to be insensitive about her loss, unfortunately, I can't change the fact that Daniel died, but there's a life there you have to worry about, too."

Birkhead says he worries most when he reads reports of Anna Nicole's heavy sedation and memory loss.

"If you're hearing crazy things like memory loss, that right there signals to me that there is a need for the father more than ever," he says. "You just have to hope and pray that someone responsible is taking care of the baby."

Birkhead blames the people around Anna Nicole for keeping him out of the picture. And now he says he's ready to exert his parental rights.

Anna had already done the suicide bit last October, and she made sure that the maid, Quithelie, saw it - she made sure, someone was there - to rescue her, which tells me, that she really didn't want to die. She involved an 'outsider' - the maid. Anna was resorting to vividly demonstrating to an outsider that something was terribly, terribly wrong.

I was watching a videoclip today with a reporter who visited with Anna after Dannilynn's birth. He described her as 'weak' getting in the vehicle, but when they took a ride out around the island, sipping coconut juice (lol), Anna 'lit up', and she really did - Anna was smiling and seemed to really be enjoying the time - it was almost 'normal Anna' - but when they came thru the gates to the house, Anna got this sad, helpless look on her face, to me, it was almost a look of dread...Anna had to be 'helped' from the vehicle (by Stern of course), and the closer she got to the house, the more shaky she walked, and by the time she was at the front steps, it seemed that Howard and Moe were literally dragging her up them. Anna had no feet under her and her butt was dragging on the steps practically. I couldn't help but feel, watching that, just how much, Anna DIDN'T want to go back into that house..the thought of it...made her legs go to jelly. It made me sad to watch... Just my impression.

Here's something that means nothing too from Brian's site.

On the bottom of the first page are 4 numbers: 4897 (?) with blue shirt written under it.

My late husband was a LEO. The rank and file called management "suits", senior officers were "white shirts", and regular officers were "blue shirts", provisionals or temps were "brown shirts". The numbers could be a shield number from someone in PD, FD, EMS, etc.

Also, Moe said that the swimming pool stunt was three weeks after Dannielynn was born.

Now, I don't exactly hold Moe to accurate timelines, lol, but I remember mentally going Sept 7 + 21 days = Sept 28 - the day of the commitment ceremony!

Then another time, he said it was 3 weeks after Daniel died that she went under in the pool - that would only be 3 more days later (but I'm sure the two events meld together in almost everyone's minds there). Either way, it seems to relate to just before or just after the "commitment ceremony."

There were so many different versions of that swimming pool story, I don't know which one is true. And now that we find out KE was there on-site 24/7 - where was she that day? And what about the 3-day coma ANS was in during that time period - where was KE?

And why doesn't *anyone* who talks about that period of time *ever* mention KE being there?

I heard the inquest will be about 3 wks long, its seems proforma tho, now that Anna's gone, Stern's got nothing to worry about.

We would have heard by now if there were any other witness who were there when he died.

One thing he did clarify in his media rounds yesterday was that he said her body was warm when it got to the hospital.

Remember how we were afraid he was taking Tas's word for it that her body was warm in the hotel when discovered? Of course, then I'm afraid that's where his thinking she had had a 105-degree fever that day came in!
