The computers have not been looked at they are trying to search warrants to look at them. The Atty's say that police pretty well know what is on the computers (I am taking it that Shelley told them what was on them)

Yes, IIRC Shelley had her password. The police need a warrant in order to examine the computer "officially" and perhaps access information for which Shelley does not have a password.

What the police may be more interested in is accessing the things that were deleted on the computers. Deleted things don't go away. They just are relocated to a space on the computer to await being overwritten. There are forensic techs that can access the deleted items which may be far more revealing than anything else on the computers.

I think it is because of the way they were obtained by Ford. They have to cover their bases to make sure they can use this as evidence and not have it thrown out at a later date.

Just to let y'all know--I really was a spelling bee champ back in school lol! I've been having trouble with the power cord and or port/jack to my latop. I have to jiggle it constantly to make it work. My power flickers every time I breathe, and I have to sit in awkward postions to keep the cord from moving once I have it in a good spot--it s very aggrevating and makes it difficult to type and see the screen sometimes. I've got a new cord on the way, but it may end up having to have a nw motherboard. So please bear with me on the tpos and what not.

Well there are probably many reasons why she contacted Ford...

She still probably had some bond with him and his family. (truly she was suing his father and not him)
Ford could get in his private plane and go there at a moments notice
Ford knew how to get into the house or had a key to get into it.

Who knows maybe in the days before her death - she over heard KE and Stern talking about Daniel's death (as in them talking about Stern's past plot to kill him - surely they had to be talking about the upcoming inquest in the Bahamas - maybe KE and him were talking about Stern could cover his tracks and maybe Anna over heard it.)

If she contacted Ford there is probably proof of it. A phone call or an email that can be traced either way.
