That was my thought when i heard Anna's diary was sold.

I'm snooping around different sites....so far, most think LB fired Opri. Because he wants to deal. Give HKS the rights to all things Anna in exchange for the paternity test.
Or as I said before...Burkhead seemed exceptionally happy at the press conference this week. I think possibly they have "aquired" something from Dannielyn and have already done their own paternity tests from which Opri ethically must distance herself.
Possibly the "surprise" is a test that shows LB as the father.

If Larry walks into court with a DNA test which was taken using Anna's, Dannie Lynn's and his DNA and it's a match, Howard is gonna have to disprove it.

As I understand it, the diaries Eric Redding had were from '92-'93. I think those were the ones on E-Bay and they were written long before LB was in the picture.
Could certainly have been something else he didn't come clean with, though.
If the court denies paternity testing, and Larry got the baby's DNA from the spit-up, he can hold a press conference after wards, and show the world the written results of the test.
Wouldn't THAT be dramatic!

Debra Opri, the hard hitting attorney representing Larry Birkhead in the Anna Nicole Smith Dannielynn custody case, has been fired, according to a Fox News story.
TMZ.com is reporting that Opri issued this terse statement: "Larry Birkhead and I have terminated our attorney-client relationship effective immediately."

As far as I can see, the Laws of the Bahamas only recognizes Howard as the father because of a "piece of paper" but it can be challenged. The idea that the court refuses to let it be challenged is preposterous. Larry isn't some guy off the street. He and Anna DID have a relationship and there is no doubt. How many other guys went to her OB with her when she first found out she was pregnant.
I thought Opri was awesome. I don't understand this. Maybe LArry's not what we think he is.
If that's the only criteria, I'd say Howard wins this one.
