A gastric bypass doctor is a stomach specialist. I forget the official name, but internist is more for organ conditions. The Lupus she mentioned to someone is a reason to see an internist. Or diabetes (from the being overweight) is also a reason.

I really disliked Barth at first, during the hearing. After seeing her more in the ensuing time, I have more respect for her. I don't think she's the media hog that Opri is. At least, not yet.

Since when is it that the best interest of the child would not be with it's biological parent that has shown huge interest in raising her, even before all the media circus it is now? I haven't heard any criminal dirt on Larry.
But we all know that HK$ supplied and administered drugs to ANS. That in itself is damning to HK$, father or not.
The heck she isn't. Her part of the case is over, done, finis. The courts in Florida were in play wrt to the body that is over, yet Barth is booking herself on all the show, spinning her fool head off for HKS.
I guess she thinks all the Florida action isn't over, eh? Perhaps a manslaughter/murder conviction in FL???
What if Anna had the Lap-Band surgery? An "internist" could be involved with that. She would have needed vitamin supplements (there's your B vitamins) in either case of a gastric by-pass or lab-band.
Any weight loss procedure would have blown the lid off of her "trimspa" weight loss claims (FRAUD) so it had to be kept a secret..a big secret. Especially now, because Trimspa has a class action suit against them, and Anna was named as a Defendant.
