I think I could have come up with a scenario where Howard was her guardian and keeper getting her up for appearances wiht uppers and letting her down to relax with downers when she was not "performing." But once I saw that clown video any reasonable doubt I had about HK$'s real intentions was removed forever.

Thinking on this picture a month after we first saw it and knowing what we know now, I think she was stoned and he was feeding her "medicine" in that drink. All these pics of HKS with her you can tell he doesn't "love" her.

Ugh, isn't that a disgusting photo? It truly sums up this whole case. HK$, the evil Rasputin - look at his grin -- and the poor little Anna at his mercy.
OK, that might be a bit of a stretch, but it's still a creepy photo.

And the extra methadone tab, plus the muscle relaxant Soma found in his vicinity. (In the bed where HKS slept, but said Daniel did - jury still out on whose it was, tho you'll see it attributed to Daniel most places.)
