I understand...Both the Bahamas and US Law are based on English Law. I have several volumes on the subject.

Excellent....Look at the videos near where the boat was docked because I think he threw something in the water.

The same thing with Danny's death...Because Wendy's is within walking distance of the docks.

Chicks Decide How Daniel Died
Posted Mar 29th 2007 1:01PM by TMZ Staff

A jury of seven -- all women -- has been impaneled to determine how Daniel Smith died.

The coroner's inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son is finally starting to roll. The jury will be asked to determine if Daniel died accidentally, or whether it was a homicide or suicide. If the verdict is homicide, it will serve as a recommendation to the Attorney General in the Bahamas. The A.G. will then decide whether to charge someone with a crime.

Among the 40 witnesses who will testify -- staff at the hospital where Daniel died, Larry Birkhead and the star witness, Howard K. Stern.

Stern is trying halt the proceedings because he thinks the process is flawed. If Stern's bid is rejected, testimony could begin shortly.

It MAY have at one point in time. Regardless, Howard looks like a Cracker to the Bahama folks.

This is the full Shakespeare quote from King John (1595) Act II, Scene I: "What Cracker is this same that deafs our ears with this abundance of supperfluous fluff"?

Why wasn't the boat named the "Anna Nicole"? It's a little more logical.

Jury seated in coroner's inquest into Daniel Smith's death

By Emanuella Grinberg
Court TV

NASSAU, Bahamas — A jury of seven Bahamian women was selected Thursday to hear evidence in a coroner's inquest into the mysterious death of Anna Nicole Smith's son.

Daniel Smith, 20, died on Sept. 10, 2006, in the Bahamas hospital where his mother had given birth to his newborn sister three days earlier. A private autopsy concluded that he died from a lethal combination of painkillers and methadone.

The purpose of a coroner's inquest is to determine how, where and when Daniel Smith died. At the end of the proceeding, the panel can make recommendations for criminal charges if they feel someone is criminally responsible for his death.

After two days of legal wrangling over how the panel should be chosen, Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez took less than 10 minutes to pick the names of seven women from a small cardboard box with "Jurors raffle" written on the sides.

Six of the women swore on a Bible, and one raised her hand in affirmation that they would consider the evidence fair and impartially.

Jury selection proceeded Thursday morning despite requests from a lawyer for Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's companion, for a delay pending his appeal over the jury selection process.

Stern, who was in the hospital room with Daniel Smith when he died, is expected to be called as a witness.

Bahamian lawyer Anthony McKinney asked Gomez to delay jury selection so that the Supreme Court could consider his application to revise the provisions of the Coroner's Act to allow lawyers to individually question potential jurors for bias.

As an alternative, McKinney asked that Gomez have the potential jurors fill out a questionnaire.

Under the current Coroner's Act, which is based on the British system, the selection of jurors is at the sole discretion of the judge.

Gomez denied McKinney's request to stay jury selection until the Supreme Court considered his application, choosing instead to make additional remarks to the jurors about pre-trial publicity.

"This case has been bombarded with news coverage," Gomez told the panelists before swearing them in. "If you feel your mind is so clogged with prejudice, please disqualify yourself."

None of the panelists responded.

The jury is scheduled to return Thursday afternoon to start hearing testimony. The proceeding could take two to four weeks.

Not only is he being careful, he's defending HKS. He says HKS is a quiet guy and stays in the background and he should start speaking up. I don't believe HKS failed to say and do what he pleased where ANS was concerned. IMO, his whole demeanor now is strictly for show! I think he is as phony as a 3 dollar bill! I've lost any respect I had for Harvey Levin.

Howard can win any court fight he wants. Big deal!! Money!! Big Deal!!

No matter how you cut it....Howard K. Stern has ABSOLUTELY ruined his OWN life and will spend the rest of his entire life as an Empty, Lonely Man.

Uh, he's not exactly the man on the beach that you flock to.

Hammering home on Showbiz Tonight what he did earlier on Nancy Grace, Harding P.I. said “In my opinion it is foul play. The police from the Bahamas came to visit me and said they found my business card on his body. Danny may have said (when he went to the Bahamas hospital to meet his mother and Stern) ‘I’m having a private investigator look into this’ and that may have sparked a bit of a problem for (Stern). He hated Stern and said that Stern hated him. (Stern) tried to get him out of the picture. He wanted complete control over Anna Nicole.”

And THIS is the information that HKS did NOT want Anna Nicole hearing in the inquest.
