Thread Number Two
I'm starting to think there needs to be a boycott of the islands.
From the movie Liar Liar
Teacher: What does your father do?
Kindergarten boy: He's a liar
Teacher: You mean he's a LAWYER.
Exactly correct - IMHO of course.
How true...
Me, too.... this isn't about love of the baby, it's about love of $$$$$$$ and what the baby represents.
If HKS really cared about what was best for the baby, which is "what Anna would've wanted", he'd turn that baby over to her father.
Perfect quote lol! I love that movie. It's one of the very few movies I can watch again and again.
Isn't it funny how the words "lawyer" and "liar" sound so similar?
strikingly similiar!
"Sanchez: "I do not have any doubts that Howie is the legal father of the child."
LOL 'Legal' where, in the Bahamas? It's been awhile since I've heard anyone from Team Sterns claim he was the biological father, now he's the 'legal' father.
Their statements in that regard sure have become laughable for any number of reasons, beginning with their fleeing from LB who challenged paternity early on, to just having filed to contest the DNA/paternity. ALL of their actions indicate anything BUT HKS being the biological father of DL. They've got nothing else to claim, but Bahama law.
By the way, did anyone else hear LB's lawyer today say that they've been assured by the court that if the DNA came back as LB being the biological father, that he would get custody of DL as long as their was nothing to show he was unfit?
Considering the gag, I was surprised to hear this. But, if the results are in, could be reason for filing today.
If someone who "knew him when" would come forward and start talking about him maybe we would figure some of this out -- aka how the man is really wired.
Maybe somebody close to someone who works at the Cleveland clinic that handled the DNA test snuck a phone call in to Larry.
That's good to know. Poor Larry has lost so much weight, they better get this done soon or he'll whittle away to nothing.
I'm sure that statement sent Howie into the fridge to get some methadone...
yeah, and HKS was getting paid by his parents. Something is fishy and I don't believe any of them.
Oh, OK - I don't have cable so never saw it. There had been a preliminary list last fall with 20 witnesses, then they canceled the inquest.
GVS had this new one on and some others copied part of it, which I then sleuthed out what I could for the list.
While looking for that list, look what I found regarding Ford Shelley:
Not all of the witnesses may testify at the inquest.
Ford Shelley, the son-in-law of a South Carolina developer embroiled in a dispute over ownership of the gated, waterfront home where Anna Nicole lived with Stern, said he was undecided whether to attend as requested.
"I don't need to be part of a three-ring circus," Shelley said.
"I have no faith in that judicial system."

He may still have pending charges to face or we can see what he has already been through trying to get Howi out of Horizons
why do you suppose stern wants to stay in that house? it makes him look like a squatter--and surely there's other places on the island he could stay.
why take on another legal 'headache'?
"Good signs - she is consistent and fearless." - agreed.
