IMHO, the most contoversial thing Howard said after Danny died was "SHE HAD A LOSS OF MEMORY OF THE EVENT". That was on September 14 via what I would consider an Official Statement by Michael Scott, Anna's attorney.
I'll bet Howard is doing everything he can to get rid of Scott as a witness. This delay isn't about the jury, it's about the witnesses. He just wants to tell his little story with no imput from anyone else.
The two people who have most to fear from HKS are LB and Virgie.
I don't think LB can risk being caught lying under oath because of the detrimental effect it would have on custody of DL.
I saw a brief clip yesterday where he responded to a reporter's inquiry that he was just going to tell the truth. He said if it helps OK or if not (shrugging shoulders). . . he was just there for Daniel (not exact - but close)

NOoooo, it hasn't been cancelled, yet, though I did read that they were seriously, at one point, considering whether or not one was ever even necessary.
NG show they are saying that we are awaiting news to hear whether or not it will begin tomorrow and how it will be handled, press and jury, or not.
