I think your right that ANS died from Sepsis(Septicemia).
The abscess was most likely on her liver. The fall in the bathtub may have ruptured the abscess.
She supposedly had 105 temp, diarrhea, nausea, unable to urinate and Dr. Perper stated that her liver was enlarged 20% at the initial autopsy.

I'll tell you what, if that's what happens, I will be furious! TWO people are dead...the investigation leads somewhere...so even if Perper's report is a dead end, I am still hopeful that the police have not closed the doors on a criminal investigation.

and I agree, she ws definitely stressed over no money both when she gave Mark Steine the tour of the 'pink house' with the kitchen gutted and also when Shelley turned up at the gate with the mortgage papers that we heard her ripping up.
OTOH, it seems to me, that her puffy face was from some Dr. Levy procedures - notice how she looked much younger compared to the hospital photos all of a sudden? wonder if he got paid?
Could Howard be so low that he would give something to her?

Howard K. Stern says that he and Anna Nicole Smith were planning to wed in a top-secret ceremony this month. The couple exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in September, but it was not a legal wedding.

If HKS is removed as well as a negotiator (he will benefit in a percentage of legal fees but may be in prison so it might not do him much good :) )

If HKS is in prison for accessory to or complicit in, Anna's murder, is he, eligible for that percentage? wonder what the law is on that one?...no doubt he would still lose it in wrongful death suits, should the tree swing that way

Sacajaweau, I'm just speculating, but I'm not sure that someone who would be expecting an imminent arrest would be scheduling a press conference. Only a man that can be convicted of "bad choices" in the court of public opinion and walking free would be scheduling a press conference. I anticipate a crocodile tear stained mea culpa (sp?). Personally, I like to see him spend some time in prison for 2 murders and kidnapping.

My understanding from a Mark Steine interview was that they flew in 'in the morning' - i'm thinking it was 10:30am?
i never could resolve how they got in around 11-ish, but didn't get to the hotel until 8pm?
maybe it was monday that Anna spent $2,000 on shoes instead of Tuesday? before they got to the hotel? the shoes confuse me
My opinion on what Dr. Perper is going to go with for cause of death is some kind of internal infection exacerbated by a lethal dosage of CH. For manner of death i think he'll say "possible homocide".
