As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
An early and quick start. I am off to Denver for two weeks. Will start the thread on all but a week from Friday, but will be about two hours later than normal (about 9 AM ET).
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Her Heinousness may well have handed the nomination to Obama yesterday. That kind of hamhanded pandering might have sold in that black church yesterday, but you can bet that Leno, Letterman, SNL and the rest of the late night crowd will be all over this one. And Obama and Edwards will be running that soundbyte in Iowa and NH....

They are trying to remove this from the history books I am sure, IF the books even mentions this.
CM, the dems are going to milk this hospital thing to the hilt. If you notice 'have a hearing here, have a hearing there' on any and everything where the Pubs and W are envolved.
This is to certify that CM has a 'southern voice' for real.
Hi, Toby. I will not only vote for Rudy in the general election (should he win the nomination) but unless things drastically change, I intend to vote for him in the primary.
He's a staunch fiscal and law and order conservative. I understand his social liberalism turns some people off but as far as I can tell we haven't gotten very far having the feds get rid of abortion, etc. Our state in SC is having better luck with that through a series of legislative moves.
Anyway, I know this has made me unpopular in some quarters and can only say that we all vote our conscience and I would hope that because I'm voting for a Republican some people don't like that it won't ruin friendships here and elsewhere on the board.
Just checking in briefly. We have swim lessons at 11:00 and will be leaving here at 10:30.
I will vote for whoever gets the Republican nomination, even if it's McCain. I don't have a favorite I am backing in the primary, but ANY Republican is better than Obama or The Black Pantsuit.
I will vote for the Republican. Period. I will vote for my favorite candidate on the list at the time of the primary.
Me too.
:))
Now, you know that Southern speak is carbon neutral; it's all those other folks that have accents, Toby. I like the authentic ones; it's the fakers....hollywood actors, hillary...who think we're all hayseeds and try to speak Southern But CAN'T. We spot the fakes every time.
Toby, the only dem I would vote for would be (possibly) Zell Miller, so, since that won't happen, I guess that answers your question.
I lived in California for about one year. They thought I had an accent and I'm in Central New York far from Brooklyn..LOL
I found out when I moved to Wiscawnsin that I had a Minnesoooooota accent.:)

I am officially declaring today a Mental Health Day. No-one has to do anything today that they don't want to do, as long as they return to being responsible adults tomorrow. That is all. Now have some fun.

Works for me.
My choir director called this a.m. & invited me out for lunch. I said no, I have too much stuff I have to get done today.
I called her back 5 minutes later and said "I changed my mind!"
Life is just tooooooooooo goll-danged short, ya know??!!!
