That kind of hamhanded pandering might have sold in that black church yesterday, but you can bet that Leno, Letterman, SNL and the rest of the late night crowd will be all over this one. And Obama and Edwards will be running that soundbyte in Iowa and NH....

"It's official. As of the 20th, I was relieved from the 301st and assigned to inactive status at the Air Reserve Command up in Denver. I miss being a part of the 301st, and actually shed a tear or two when I opened those orders. Which I finally got today. Sheesh. The military is always the same... hurry up and wait...."

Hi, Toby. I will not only vote for Rudy in the general election (should he win the nomination) but unless things drastically change, I intend to vote for him in the primary.
He's a staunch fiscal and law and order conservative. I understand his social liberalism turns some people off but as far as I can tell we haven't gotten very far having the feds get rid of abortion, etc. Our state in SC is having better luck with that through a series of legislative moves.
Anyway, I know this has made me unpopular in some quarters and can only say that we all vote our conscience and I would hope that because I'm voting for a Republican some people don't like that it won't ruin friendships here and elsewhere on the board.

She already got skewered on the "Today" show this morning, according to governsleastgovernsbest. The review was NOT complimentary and apparently they showed clips of her screeching contrasted with Obama's easy, friendly tone.
Just checking in briefly. We have swim lessons at 11:00 and will be leaving here at 10:30.

I will vote for whoever gets the Republican nomination, even if it's McCain. I don't have a favorite I am backing in the primary, but ANY Republican is better than Obama or The Black Pantsuit.

Now, you know that Southern speak is carbon neutral; it's all those other folks that have accents, Toby. I like the authentic ones; it's the fakers....hollywood actors, hillary...who think we're all hayseeds and try to speak Southern But CAN'T. We spot the fakes every time.

My choir director called this a.m. & invited me out for lunch. I said no, I have too much stuff I have to get done today.
