An early and quick start. I am off to Denver for two weeks. Will start the thread on all but a week from Friday, but will be about two hours later than normal (about 9 AM ET).

I like pecans too, actually, I like 'em all, except Brazil nuts......and even those are okay if they're chopped up.
My preferred nuts are schizophrenics, followed by paranoics and Area 51 fanatics, but that's just me....;-))

I listened to Joshua Sparling's father, who son has been at Walter Reed Hospital for over a year, talk to Sean Hannity yesterday.
He's furious with the way this Walter Reed scandal is being portrayed by the media. (Surprise, surprise...) He said the complaint really has to do with one of the outpatient facilities, that had been run down. What the media is not mentioning is that the funding had been cut by Congress last year to improve conditions there. Now they want to saddle the Bush Administration with this "scandal".
On our local news report this morning saddles the Bush Administration with lack of care to veterans. Nothing could be further from the truth, yet now the hard court press is on to embroil the Administration with this.
Folks, I am amazed at how this Administration will continued to get tarred and feathered with everything comes up. God in Heaven must wonder what in the hell is going on down here.
My contempt for the MSM knows no bounds!
Sorry about the rant, but why does dishonesty continue to flourish in a country that is good and generous? Where is the moral compass of these people who work to deceive?
