RE: Your quote from the article

If the clinic people didn't know what to do, WTF were they doing working in a rehab clinic? That's not an unusual event at this kind of facility. People are in rehab because they're out of control. There's always the possibility that this is a Rehab in name only spa where the stars come for a drug-free vacation experience, but having dealt with EVERY kind of junkie and alcoholic (I spent five years working 6th Street in Austin), I don't see this as being something at all unexpected from someone either stoned or going through withdrawal.

That's what I thought. In fact, what they described her doing was pretty mild. I cannot imagine the staff being "frightened." I bet the shrink on call having been apprised of what was going on would have told the psychiatric nurses and orderlies, "Just snow her."

You comment reminds me of what Alice Cooper said about recording "Inmates." He had been on a binge and wanted to dry out. He intended to go to a drug/alcohol facility but inadvertently checked himself into a Psychiatric hospital by mistake.

When he figured it out he was a little frightened. He did get lots of great song material.
