Close...It's melting today. It's in the mid 30s. So nice.

Toby, I can relate with you..all the joy you get from Jason.

About 10 years ago I had a very small daycare....2-3 young ones. Those years were some of the best years. Those children gave me an excuse to act childish..at times. Goodness, I used to make them laugh!! They would make me laugh...Such fun!!

Jason and I are big buddies now, he has learned to hit redial on the phone and calls me. He is my bud.
He also loves to go to WalMart, just likes riding in the food cart.

Sounds like oke Phil is drinking laced Thunder Bird. One thing with mclame, he's pretty old to be president, two, he doesn't have the personality to be president, he's too tightly wired and when someone disagrees with him he blows sky high, three, I don't trust him.

Me too. I've met him and he was a staunch Republican.

That's what scares me. In 10 years or a little more, Gramm has gotten wishy washy. If it can happen to him, it will happen to others (politicians). Scary....

This Gramm thing has me really concerned.

WHAT are WE missing?

I've always held Phil and Wendy in extremely high regard. When he was running for Prez, I was on his 'inside' team and worked my heart out for them.

I hauled Wendy around to meetings. When no one else was availabe to speak to a group, I did it.

WHAT does he see in McLaime that we can't see?

I'm totally puzzled. Totally.

I don't know. I don't like it...at all.

Sheesh! Years ago I used to think Gramm was a tad too conservative....now I find out I am more than he??

I was just researching spin bikes (exercise bikes) and Sam's has a dirt cheap one - but I don't know if it's any good.

prairiebreeze, there are LOTS of good things you can eat! (I just got home and read your note). I highly recommend the Progresso soups that are labeled "100 calorie per serving" on the front label. They taste good and most are only 1 or 2 points. You can make a sandwich out of low fat American, low-fat bologna or tuna (using diet bread) and have soup and a sandwich for only 3 or 4 points. You can add carrot sticks and celery and dill pickles for 0 points!

Another thing I do is use Fiber One ceral by general mills. That stuff has so much fiber that a half cup of it is ZERO points. I use it as my late-night desperation snack along with skim milk. You don't need sweetener because they have sweetened it with sucralose. Add some fruit to it if you like.

I also recommend Jello fat-free sugar-free pudding. I made a banana pudding for supper and one serving was only 3 points, even though I had added a banana!

Lean Cuisine makes some good entrees, and they put the points value on the side of the box in small print. I use a lot of those when I have to have something at my son's house.

Also, Eggbeaters gives you the equivalent of 2 eggs for only one point, and I scramble them with onions and jalopenos and put them on a WW English muffin with a piece of low fat cheese. THREE points!

Our class leader has a million tips and recipes like this. I take notes every week because I like to eat and broiled chicken with steamed vegetables is just not my style. LOL!
