The Japanese were so humane during WW2 its just great to see it from their side.

I am sure they can explain away the Repe of Nan King and the Bataan death march, How about the Bordellos where they sent white and Philipino women to work in. I am sure the beheadings and the Japanese working men to death in mines and building railroads were necessities.

Sorry Mr. Eastwood your movie doesnt interest me.

I haven't seen the new one (letters from Iwo Jima)but the other one (Flags of our Fathers)wasn't exactly easy on the Japanese, an example, one of the main characters is captured and tortured by the Japanese for no apparent reason. The American soldiers are portrayed very positively.
I think the French are reading their own brand of Pacifism into this.

I personally think the biological tests and mass rape of Korean woman was the culminating point of "humanity" for this regime.

In a liberal mind the world is simple. Turn it on it's head, then claim your "intellectual", and just can't be understood because of their great intellect.
