#16.........Sobering, ong.
Thank you for sharing.
How did Dad do at the doc's?
You're a good son!
Okay I need to rant a bit. I was watching Hannitys America last night and the topic was Al global warming gores air travel. The lib women on the show said it was alright because he bought carbon credits to make up for it.Now I dont know what a carbon credit is but I can guess. The problem I have with this is it is just a way to make libs fell good and make someone rich. If I was to drink an adult beverage and then a coffee to sober up I will still have the same amount of adult beverage in my system. Same goes for carbon credits once you expel the co2 it is out there and I don't care how many credits you buy you still have supposedly destroyed the atmosphere.Man libs make my blood pressure rise.
........sigh..............just what I need.......
OH DEAR..Keep us posted Mozie... here is something to cheer you up (Hopefully).. and now I go back to work or anohter half hour before I leave fore day.. (note the last one.. did you have your hearing aids on ? ....if you wear them!) dolly

Life at the Florida Mobile Home Park
A little old lady was sitting on a park bench in Trailer Estates, a Florida mobile home park. A man walked over and sits down on the other end of the bench. After a few moments, the woman asks, "Are you a stranger here?"
He replies, "I lived here years ago."
"So, where were you all these years?"
"In prison," he says.
"Why did they put you in prison?"
He looked at her, and very quietly said, "I killed my wife."
"Oh!" said the woman. "So you're single..."

Another two elderly people living in Trailer Estates, he was a widower and she a widow, had known each other for a number of years. One evening there was a community supper in the big activity center.
The two were at the same table, across from one another. As the meal went on, he took a few admiring glances at her and finally gathered the courage to ask her, "Will you marry me?"
After about six seconds of 'careful consideration', she answered "Yes. Yes, I will."
The meal ended and, with a few more pleasant exchanges, they went to their respective places. Next morning, he was troubled. "Did she say 'yes' or did she say 'no'?"
He couldn't remember. Try as he might, he just could not recall. Not even a faint memory. With trepidation, he went to the telephone and called her. First, he explained that he didn't remember as well as he used to. Then he reviewed the lovely evening past.
As he gained a little more courage, he inquired, "When I asked if you would marry me, did you say 'Yes' or did you say 'No'?"
He was delighted to hear her say, "Why, I said, 'Yes, yes I will' and I meant it with all my heart." Then she continued, "I am so glad that you called, because I couldn't remember who had asked me."

A man was telling his neighbor in Trailer Estates, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect."
"Really," answered the neighbor "What kind is it?"
" Twelve thirty."

A little old man shuffled slowly into the "Orange Dipper", an ice cream parlor in Trailer Estates, and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool.
After catching his breath he ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, "Crushed nuts?"
"No," he replied, "arthritis!"

Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor at The Trailer Estates Medical Clinic to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?"
"Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.", Morris replied.
To which doctor said, "I didn't say that, Morris. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur. Be careful!!'
Don't worry, Mozie. I had a heart murmur once , and it hasn't been detected since.
Maybe he just heard a couple 'stress' beats.
;o)
I really think it is stress fro mthe job - but a short term disability claim was approved until the end of this month. sigh I have been offered another job elsewhere and think I should take it. I still need to work some for my mental health.
My mom had a heart murmer but outgrew it. Take care, I am not much informed about adult onset heart murmers. ((((Mozie))))
He said not to worry. But wants it checked all the same.
Take care of yourself.
Please take a moment to stop by and post to Minute Gal on the THREAD that's been started for her.
I've met Leni personally, she's a solid conservative and an asset to FR. I know she'll appreciate your support.
Yes, do take good care of self!
Is that a titmouse?
Well, whadya know.......................we just hit 40! It's positively toasty!!
I'm putting you and your heart murmur on my prayer list.
Thanks sweetie.....trying very hard not to worry...
I understand. One time, in the 80s, my pap smear came back showing "abnormal cells." The time period between that info and the subsequent treatment was simply awful.
Sorry to hear that, Mozie. As LB said, stress can mess with one's body.
Chair, I thought you might be interested in this article which details that one in 6 Europeans are living below the poverty level. This is primarily because there aren't enough workers to support their socialism programs.

We have 43 right now - went out for a walk today. It was so nice to walk outside in the fresh air again.
Hope you get your heart murmur straightened out, Mozie. And I pray your other problems resolve themselves also.
