Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

On a vote of 246 to 182, mostly along party lines, the House indicated it should be National policy to shame the troops and support defeat in the current war.

Interestingly, the DemoncRATS say they don't want to repeat the finale of the Vietnam War where they pulled the rug out from under the Saigon regime, and forever became known as the party of peace at any cost. Nevertheless, that is exactly the strategy they are pursuing.

Today, the Senate will likely tell the world "wait long enough, America will leave," placing our troops in Baghdad and Iraq in even more peril.

Of course, the DemoncRATS have an answer for that--they want the President to bring the troops home. In other words, while they want an American defeat, they want it at the hands of the Republican President--to wash themselves of the Vietnam debacle.

Oh, how the ghosts of the past haunt the present.

Is anyone else noticing the influx of trolls on the threads this morning since the vote...I would speculate some on the left are afraid their party has overreached with that treason committed in the House yesterday.

A Backlash is brewing...and some on the left are afraid....I'm seeing it in media articles already.

Fred Barnes was on Hugh's radio show last evening and said some in the Rat ranks in Congress are afraid that the anti-war left is leading the leadership into a serious trainwreck if they continue to push this anti-war message....they can only push it so far. Barnes said some fear they will try and cut funds....which will be political suicide for them.

Oh I hope you are right Dog. If the backlash is strong enough, I hope it hits them in the bitt as they leave the House, forever. I am ashamed we have so many weak sisters among our elected servants, but when I think about it, most of the weak sisters come from well off families, they have never really had to work hard outside of their elected positions. They, for the most part are eletists who think they are smarter than the rest of us, so can do whatever they want. Yesterday was a very good example of their arrogance and better than thou attitude toward the public and our fine military.

We here on the coast STILL have not started the rebuilding of out areas here for two reasons. 1. Insurance companies still fighting payouts. 2. Lack of housing for construction workers. 3. Some cities can't agree on building height restrictions and even outdated codes. Oh well, we will see. I know the 'experts' are saying that a few thousands home will have to be rebuild from the ground up, condo's will be everywhere along the coast drive. True, the 'officials' are arresting bogus contractors daily and you can go on a job now and ask a question to the workers and they will answer'boss gone to Home Depot, be back in thirty minutes', the only English the illegals know. Yes, Yes, illegals ARE being arrested and turn over to the feds. When we DO get started building the Mexicans will swarm here once again.

Lets see, we have the vararies caucus in Washington, black, Latino, you name it. A two more should be formed, the WHITE Cacuas and, the old folks caucus. I understand the latter they can't find enough walking canes, wheelchairs, railing along the wall to keep them from falling. One question being asked by me is where will they find a place big enough to hold meetings. I love to see them 'shuffle' to the desk to vote and watch how long it takes them to get there. One more thing, YES, I am bitter and mad this morning.

Weather wise it is not so cold here today, but tonight will be another story. I have to get a couple of loads of logs to the back door for 'da fire'. The kids really don't want me to start the fires cause I build them to keep the WHOLE house warm, sheeesh, all I am trying to do is save on the electric bill.

Don't forget, when you voice your displeasure the the 'dirty 7' on the house vote, write them using their FIRST name, don't show them the respect of addressing them by their title, Rep John Doe, etc.

As my drill Sgt. use to wake us up with 'Time TO CLEAN HOUSE. Never did I think he would be talking about todays congress.
