Larry Birkhead Clue Proves He's Anna Nicole Smith's Baby's Father?

Is a traffic ticket the first real clue that Larry Birkhead is the real father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby Dannielynn? Since the courts have yet to step up and force Howard K. Stern to submit Anna Nicole's infant daughter for a paternity test it is now up to creative detective work to piece together who exactly fathered that baby.
AOL's TMZ.com does just that and uses a traffic ticket as the clue that may prove that Larry Birkhead at least believed that he was the little baby girl's birth father.

Here’s how the website explains the situation. Rewind to April 15, 2006. Sources tell TMZ a pregnant Anna had just gotten into a fight with Howard K. Stern, who was expressing extreme jealousy over the fact that Birkhead was the father of the baby. Sources say Stern gave Anna an ultimatum -- him or me.
The web site reports that it has learned that an extremely emotional Anna, who was barefoot and four months pregnant, called Birkhead and asked him to meet her in the parking lot of the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, Calif. near her house. A concerned Birkhead jumped in his car and sped over, only to be stopped by a Burbank cop.

The officer who issued the speeding ticket quoted Birkhead -- "I got a call from my pregnant wife, she's sick."
TMZ puts on its lawyer hat and speculates that the ticket is significant because Birkhead's statement was a spontaneous reaction to the event and not in the context of a paternity battle. Debra Opri, Birkhead's lawyer, tells TMZ Birkhead referred to Anna as his "girlfriend" but the cop wrote "wife."

In all of the online polls I've seen, people believe that Larry Birkhead is the father over Howard K. Stern by about 3-1. And as this is 2007, it should be simple with a quick swab and some DNA. But with Stern holed up in the Bahamas only to emerge with what many believe are crocodile tears each night on ET, the drama continues.
