I can understand Star Jones' concern:

Star Jones is pissing me off..... she isn't at all worried about this baby, she is worried about all the poor babies in the world instead.
This baby could be in danger with all the police activity going on. We don't know what HK$ is capable of. I hope they realize this.

Letter: Concern over Anna Nicole Smith's daughter
Published on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 A lot of us here in America are worried about Dannielyn; however I do not see the real "facts" here in the letters to the editor.
The Bahamas court system is well equipped to handle the custody dispute over Dannielyn with their excellent laws and the above board professionalism of their statutes.
However I would like to state some facts that other people writing letters have not.
Larry Birkhead's lawyer Ms Opri has made a plea to all Americans to put pressure on the Bahamian government and court to do it her way and ignore the Bahamian laws because they are "outdated". I think most of us trust the rule of law and the wisdom of the judges in the Bahamas.
In Mr Birkhead's testimony in Fla., he stated he had lived exclusively as a Paparazzi off of pictures he took of Anna Nicole and sold in violations of contracts he signed, for the last 2 years.
Mr Birkhead further stated that he signed a contract dated January 3, 2006 stating in part "that he knew on that date she was pregnant and that he had not been with her the 75 days prior to that date". He violated 3 different contracts and wanted his 15 min. of frame no matter the cost to Anna Nicole, some of the emails he sent her right after her son's death is unbelievable that anyone could be that cruel.
Ms Opri, Mr Birkhead's attorney, continues to not honor the gag order of the judge in the Bahamas Court on this case; she continues to try to inflame the public against your beautiful country. She is now stating that a Bahamian attorney "forged Dannielynn's birth certificate, thereby making it null and a forged criminal document." What an insult to the professionalism of your lawyers.
Anna Nicole loved the Bahamas, she found real happiness there, and it is understandable with all of the "guys" coming out of the wood work claiming to be the father that the court has a serious issue before it. However why did Mr Birkhead refuse to adhere to the custody laws of the Bahamas? Why did he try to do an end run around them and enforce his forum shopping for a court friendly to him in multiple states here in the US?
I have great confidence that once it is shown that Mr Stern had NOTHING to do with Anna's death or Daniel's, he has been slandered horribly and he alone has respected the legal system of the Bahamas Court and has obeyed the gag order that the judge put in place.
Why did Anna Nicole feel the need to flee the states and all of the guys wanting child support from her and to hassle her over her child. She loved the Bahamas and their court system is far better than the states. We need to respect the country she adopted and wants her daughter raise in.
Larry Birkhead is not the innocent victim here; he is paparazzi with a rich California attorney who feels he can snub the rule of law of another country if it does not suit him. Why did he wait until October to file for paternity? Why did he become a star by breaking contracts and living off of the money of pictures he took of her that he then sold in breach of a contract? Why did he sign another contract in June 2006 stating he was not the father? He has had his 15 minutes of frame let him chase down other celebrities as his trade of a paparazzi and leave Mr Stern to probate Ms Smith's will and carry out her wishes by being the guardian of her child... She knew who she could trust with the most prize gift any mother could have, a child.
If not for the brilliant attorney, Mr Stern and his law partners, sadly there would be no money to fight over, and even in that he did not take the normal 30 - 40% of funds recovered, he has a contract for 6% to be paid only if he wins the suit against the Marshall Estate. His only crime is falling in love with a beautiful woman, trying to carry out her wishes and trying to protect his daughter...
Respect the Bahamas courts and tell Ms Opri, she might get away with violating gag orders from American courts, she might try to bully the Americans to send horrible emails about how backward the Bahamas laws are, that is despicable, no wonder so many people think that we are all "ugly Americans" trying to push our ways, our laws, what we want like a bully in the playground unto other countries.
Let Mr Stern grieve, let him probate the will and let him make sure that the Virgie Arthur, the Larry Birkheads, and the other seven "alleged fathers" go back to claim the fame they made off of the tragic death of this woman, but that Dannielyn is cared for by him in the way Ms Smith trusted him.
