I'm now thinking that whatever Howard gave Daniel was IN THE CAR and that's why he went out for food. He needed to get to the car. So he took the videos and went to the car, got the food.......

Did Howard get hungry? Or did he say he was hungry and does anyone else want anything??

We really need to know what the entire hospital room looks like and where the bathroom is etc..
