It needs to be established first that ANS was NOT a legal resident of The Bahamas. LB has no standing there, anyway, and her PR status would favor her, which would favor HKS, since they have the same attorney.

Come March 14th, that eviction and the proof of fraud in the PR application should clear the path towards a more optimistic outcome for LB.

It all should have happened last October, but then where would it all be? Perhaps a live ANS, still insisting on HKS's involvement.

Ok. I hope that's the case. I feel more relieved now. Gosh, I want that baby away from HKS.

Investigation Of Gibson Ongoing

According to former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham, who has said he brought the allegations to the attention of both the commissioner of police and the attorney general, a gift received under these circumstances would contravene the Bribery Act.

While the police continue to refuse to identify the source of the complaint against Mr. Gibson, which they are pursuing, the Bahama Journal has reported that Mr. Ingraham has said on a number of occasions that he has brought the allegations to the attention of the commissioner of police and the attorney general.

Director of Public Prosecutions Bernard Turner told the Bahama Journal on Wednesday that he was unaware of a complaint against Mr. Gibson having been made to the attorney general’s office.

Attorney General Allyson Maynard Gibson said more than a week ago that she had not received a complaint against Mr. Gibson either.
