Other than his name on the birth certificate, he really has no claim to the baby. He and ANS were not married when she was conceived or when she was born. That ceremony on the boat -- legal or otherwise == was held after the birth of the baby.
At this point, ANS's mother has the strongest claim on that child and she is the one who should be on her way to the Bahamas. Pronto!
