Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Are you possibly suggesting that he might have "gotten screwed?" (g)
I will see if I can find it, but I watched this couple on tv being interviewed last week. They are ANS's friends who live/lived in So. Carolina, I believe. But, yes, I remember them saying just what you said. That they "sold" the house in the Bahamas to Anna knowing that she did not have the cash *yet* but she fully anticipated she would in the near future. This couple claims to have numerous emails from Anna regarding intent to pay and they believe she was truthful and that she would indeed have kept her word. The issues had more to do with HKS somehow...like he was trying to keep Anna from paying. This couple did not like Howard and didn't trust him.
HKS's lawyer's voice is really grating...

You can do a sale with NO cash..the owner holds the paper..but the title has to be transferred. No title transfer was done..those people weren't idiots...

So Stern's atty. claims ANS bought the burial spots? Last night on Greta somebody...Vergie's atty. I think, showed papers to PROVE Stern bought the spots. Thinks they can show ANS had nothing to do with it.
She's quoting a statute that talks about CREMATION - which is irreversible, and why special statutes were written. That has nothing to do with this trial.
Anna just might have been on to Howard and there may be another will which she has put elsewhere. I'm up for big surprises in all this.
Howard reminds me of Scot Peterson....Every move was calculated.
I think that ANS's estate should have to pay these fees because she led him and others to believe that he is the father.
