Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

This is probably very true. I think she was dismissive of him when she was sober, and he was in control of her when she was whacked out on drugs. Truly disgusting.

I think Barth is fighting it. I really think that is the main reason why Virgie is pushing this. I really believe she and Birkhead are working together to get Stern to have to prove paternity once and for all.
Wasn't Anna's mother present for Daniel's burial?? Are there pictures? Grandma did care for him for several years.

Right, I meant to say that too, I wouldn't be surprised if he raped her when she was unconscious, as a matter of fact I would bet good money on it. She had to be drugged enough that she wouldn't wake up or remember it, or if she did wake up he would say "It was your idea"
The idea of keeping her drugged up and not getting her to rehab and dry out (which he would have done if he REALLY loved her) would be to convince her to be with him or just to take advantage of her sexually. Taking "date rape" to a whole new level.

I heard in an interview that she wasn't. I would imagine that Anna and HKS did not inform her when it was. Furthermore, I would say that if she had showed, ANS and HKS would have made it difficult for her and would have kept her away with their bodyguards.
I suspect he is going for whoever the father of the baby is...has the right to speak for the child as to where Anna gets to be buried.
allowing her to be filmed for ET and allowing her mom to be filmed while whacked out when pregnant with Dannielynn is not "fatherly care."
