Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Yes to both of you. I can see both possibilities - that Anna died sooner than Howie had planned......or that Howard did not want her dying in the Bahamas where an inquest was already scheduled about Daniel's death......Could be either of these.

Perhaps he didn't plan it just the way that it happened....perhaps he just kept pumping her full of the drugs - knowing that eventually she would not be able to survive...

That means manslaughter.....or 2nd degree murder....not first degree murder.....but in either case, he is definitely a killer. DannieLynn needs to be away from this slug immediately!

I can go back and forth so easily on his intentions. On the one hand, I don't think that it was really advantageous to him for her to die the way she did.

On the other hand, with an entourage of 6 people and a person who they all claim was VERY SICK, 105 fever, ice baths, doctor flying from CA to treat....etc, etc.....and they all left her alone?

It makes no sense.

I just wonder if he starts every day by telling this precious little baby that her mama is dead!!!!! Like he kept screaming at her after Anna died. THAT IS NOT what anybody who loved that child would keep saying to it. I pray God that child does have someone who truly loves her caring for her....Shane Gibson's wife, mother, or whomever - I don't care as long as they love her. But Stern does NOT - except for the money he can get out of her - just as he viewed Anna Nicole. Therefore he is NOT a fit parent and could be a danger to that child.

I agree! I truly think that baby is in danger! For the life of me I don't understand why nobody is protecting her.

I think that the baby's guardian ad litem has failed to adequately represent her best interests to this point. Given that two deaths have occurred involving HKS, that drugs and drug paraphenalia were found in the home, that a cast of questionable characters surround HKS, and that nobody is sure of the stability of HKS at this point or his intentions, a responsible guardian would have demanded that she be put in protective custody pending further investigation or determination of paternity.

Also, I think the court-appointed guardian ad litem (her lawyer, right?) should argue that burying the mother and half brother on US soil is in Dannielynn's best interests in the long run. I can imagine a 15 year old Dannielynn wishing her mom and half brother were buried in the USA (where she will presumably be living eventually) and not in the Bahamas. The judge may not buy the argument, but it deserves to be made.

I'm hoping someone will finally put Dannielynn's interests in first place tomorrow. She deserves to have her paternity determined ASAP and her safety secured NOW!
