I read an article the other day that this whole theory of Methadone is starting to cause a lot of controversy (not from ANS) because of just what you are saying. It is actually more adictive than heroine. I know the doctor I work for has several patients who are Methadone dependent (get it from clinics, not him) and have all kinds of other issues going on, including being bi-polar.

As an aside, I saw on Fox the other day that Scientists believe they've located the addiction center of the brain and can zap it and a person loses their craving for drugs. If true, this could be a huge breakthrough.

The V's and M's look different from her actual signature...but who knows how many methadone shooters she was doing while signing.

Looking at her one witness past, hard to say if legit.

I don't have a specific date, but she allegedly moved to The Bahamas in June and allegedly did the Thompson deal in August.

All the Shane Gibson brouhaha said he did a 3-month fast-track, so that may be the 3 months they're talking about - from June to August.

post 7670?

He is the one witness and kimmie is from her show.

A Los Angeles attorney, suspended from practice last year for lying to a client about having lost her case by not filing it on time, has been suspended again, this time for failing to pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination.

Kooros James Khavarian, 37, drew two years probation, including 30 days of actual suspension, in July of last year. The Supreme Court stayed Khavarian’s 12-month suspension on the condition that he pass the MPRE within one year.

Don't shoot me for bringing up the border issue - couldn't resist - but wouldn't it be something if the US required everybody who comes to be a resident to buy a 500 grand house - there would be no bust in the housing market then
________________________________________________________
You forgot to ping whatshisname! LOL

BTW - Once upon a time, to obtain permanent residency in the USA required a sponsor willing take care of you financially if you became unable to take care of yourself -ability to speak/understand English, have sufficient funds and/or marketable skills and/or a job available.

My, how times have changed.

"She was there, without HKS, most of the time"

Don't you wonder what HKS was doing during that time? From what we've been able to tell, he had no other clients.

People buy blocks all the time. When my dad died, we bought 2 additional sites. It's simply a way of insuring a nearby burial.

If circumastances change, people sell the unused plots. You'd be surprised how many people are re-interred to larger family plots.

Let's remember...Howard apparently signed for the plots!!

The initials are too angular, not at all like her signature.

Probably the only real estate deal that he actually paid for.

Yes, people do buy plots ... and people change their wills when their beneficiary of upwards of 1/2 billion dollars dies, especially when they employ a team of attorneys.

No, not if you croaked, but if your child had a trust fund and you died it could go to his father instead of his sister????

Thanks for that info! I try to catch up, but my eyes are glazing over.

I'd put those "witnesses" under oath.

Especially since, according to the letter of Bahamian law, she is not a citizen of the Bahamas, I'd think the guardian at-litum could have more power than we orignally considered and that baby needs to be removed from the home immediately. I dont' know why their childrens services said they were going to visit the baby yesterday and then didn't show up, but they all need to show up now.

A lawyer for the doctor who prescribed drugs to Anna Nicole Smith in the late stages of her pregnancy says giving methadone to Smith was "medically sound and appropriate."

The lawyer for Dr. Sandeep Kapoor responded to allegations of medical misconduct today in a statement to TMZ, saying, in part, "Medical research and protocols confirm that methadone is approved for use by pregnant patients." According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, methadone treatment for pregnant women can "save [a] baby's life" and can "allow [one] to regain...quality of life." The government also says that using methadone while pregnant "will not cause birth defects for [a] baby."

When drugs are the causation --- hospitals, doctors and authorities are the last people the druggies want to involve.

That must be the date it was submitted for probate. Wills are not required to be filed before someone dies.

Wouldn't it have to be a pretty big loophole since they didn't want to pronounce her on the scene? Maybe Stern hoped (they would) pronounce on the scene if he drug his heels long enough in calling for help.

When ET asked Howard about the will, he says that by default everything should now go to Anna's newborn daughter.

Now why wouldn't this wonderful young lawyer not want to be the father of this poor, unfortunate infant?
