Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

That seems to be the standard internationally.

In effect, until this child attains age 18, she is entitled to the same citizenship as her US parents - should they so decide.

Thereafter she may choose to become a Bahamian citizen.

The guy on CTV (who did the documentary on ANS) said that ANS had a falling out with her long-term manager because the manager didn't think it appropriate for Daniel, at his age, to appear on such an adult show as her E-TV show. She was furious that he would go against her wishes and had a falling out, never to speak to him again... HKS, OTOH was all for it and as a result it only ingratiated him to her all the more.

At the very least HKS was an enabler for both ANS and probably Daniel. I suspect if she has listened to her real friends and that manager perhaps she and Daniel would be alive today.

She moved there in August (baby was born in September).. so she must have stayed with the Thompson family for close to three months, which pretty much jives with a lot of their statements to Greta. She was there, without HKS, most of the time. They went with her to find a home in the Bahamas and Ben Thompson purchased the house for her and she was to buy it from him... somewhere along that line she cozied up to Gibson and was fast-tracked to residency... and hired most of his family in one job or the other.

BTW, I noticed in the video of the police checking the house yesterday, Gibson's mother is still at the house caring for the baby... that does make me feel a little better, I think she truly cares for the baby and she seems to be a gentle soul.

If they pronounced her DOA at the hospital, was the hospital in Broward County or on the Seminole Reservation? I think Broward County.

Anna had all kinds of liabilities attached to her and since Anna drove around in a limo, just bought a yacht had a bodyguard, a nanny and a private nurse but had filed bankruptcy.....

I'd watch which banks Howard cruises to.

We're all making an assumption that the baby is the key to the money. The key might just already be in Howard's pocket.

I couldn't understand that nor could I understand how she could have had a "105 degree temp" in the hotel room as was reported, and nobody took her to a hospital? That's outrageous. These people who supposedly cared for her were idiots.

When my grandmother died in Texas (in the 80's) we had to search the house for her will, found it under her mattress. It had never been filed with any courts.

IMO, that Stern is unfit to care for this baby. If he was a fit guardian, he would have had ANS admitted into a rehab facility...

I agree. I don't understand, since everyone is saying it is all about the well-being of the baby, why nobody is jumping up and down -- with some passion -- about securing the welfare of the baby. Given that HKS has been in close proximity to two recent (and suspicious) deaths and his judgment is highly questionable, shouldn't the baby's appointed guardian, biological father or grandmother be demanding that that she be placed in protective custody pending resolution of the DNA testing?

I'm not sure that she had applied for citizenship - just that she made an application for permanent residency - based on that fraudulent/non binding real estate deal; using G. Ben Thompson as the mark.

I know they pronounced her in Broward Co., but witness statements seem to indicate she was already dead when the paramedics got there.

And yes, I know they were seen pounding on her chest in front of the hotel, but I'm looking at it from the POV of someone like HKS, who would be looking for loopholes like a defense atty would look for reasonable doubt.
