TMZ has obtained a traffic ticket Larry Birkhead got while Anna Nicole Smith was pregnant, and it could be powerful proof that he's the daddy.

Rewind to April 15, 2006. Sources tell TMZ a pregnant Anna had just gotten into a fight with Howard K. Stern, who was expressing extreme jealousy over the fact that Birkhead was the father of the baby. Sources say Stern gave Anna an ultimatum -- him or me.

We're told an extremely emotional Anna, who was barefoot and four months pregnant, called Birkhead and asked him to meet her in the parking lot of the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, Calif. near her house. A concerned Birkhead jumped in his car and sped over, only to be stopped by a Burbank cop.

The officer who issued the speeding ticket quoted Birkhead -- "I got a call from my pregnant wife, she's sick."

The ticket is significant because Birkhead's statement was a spontaneous reaction to the event and not in the context of a paternity battle. Debra Opri, Birkhead's lawyer, tells TMZ Birkhead referred to Anna as his "girlfriend" but the cop wrote "wife."

I heard that, but according to TMZ Virgie has filed for it as well as Larry Birkhead and Birkhead's lawyer had two holds in California on the body and is trying to get them adjudicated in Florida.

So all through her pregnancy, they kept who the father was a secret and then she marries him at sea and HE says he's the father. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Her mother is the adult "next of kin," unless HKS can set forth a convincing argument along the lines of a civil union conducted on foreign shores and that sounds "gay" to me.

Would he try and use some common law type of argument? I hope any judges in Florida would look at him being attorney, boyfriend (barf), executor, etc., as all very convenient.

BTW, another attorney said last night he and HKS were both executors of the estate with HKS #1 Executor and this attorney as #2 Executor.

No, No one needs them that big. What I noticed with ANS was a shake the boobs, grab, or at least, have a hand close to, if not touching the crotch. She was all about sex. She had nothing else going for her. To me, this is sad. When you become an object, and cease to be a person, what is left? An empty shell. I think ANS died a long time ago. Going through the motions, does not make a life led.

I hope she has found peace. She never found it in life. Her own making. I just worry about the baby. This little innocent has no say in anything. It makes me sick to see what is going on. ANS brought what ever fate happened to her, upon herself. Her personal choices in life. The baby however, is a different story. One I don't see ending any better than her mothers, if this charade is allowed to continue.

Actually, he knew that two deaths similiar down there would have been immediate attention. Especially they were already scheduling an inquest for March.

But I don't think he expected quite this much media and American people attention to this. Like a passing blurb about her dying and everyone just saying "Darn", including Birkhead and her family.

Yes, it seems he is trying to use a common law thingee --- civil union --- commitment ceremony --- but that won;t fly because there was NOTHING legally stopping her from marrying him, IF that's what she had wanted to do.

Crass = thoughtless and vulgar: so thoughtless, vulgar, and insensitive as to lack all refinement or delicacy.

Verity, I respectfully disagree. There may be the odd vulgarity, but I submit that most of the posters on this thread are concerned with justice and the welfare of this infant.
