Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Smith's body, Perper said, "showed some indication of scarring from plastic surgery, but nothing recent."

Perper said the autopsy found no needle marks, no pill residues in her stomach or any indication she had been drinking alcohol. Nor was there any evidence of recent plastic surgery, he said.

It says that if the mother and father agree that he is the father, he is presumed to be the father. BUT, here is this little tidbit above. So, I would think that the situation we have is 'given rise'. It seems that Birkhead's attorney's would need to contract for a Bahamian attorney to file a paternity suit IN THE BAHAMAS. Why this hasn't happened yet, I don't know.

Anna Nicole Smith's mother Virgie Arthur has slammed reports she wants custody of her granddaughter - she just wants the baby to be raised by her real father.
Arthur, who flew to her daughter's home in The Bahamas on Friday (09Feb07) to check on the welfare of five-month-old Dannielynn, has hit back at Smith's companion Howard K. Stern for denying her access to the baby.
And the former police woman insists the baby's real father is photographer Larry Birkhead.
She tells US breakfast show Good Morning America, "(Stern) won't talk to me. I saw him on Tv and he said, 'You'll never see her (Dannielynn) as long as I'm alive.'
"I think Larry Birkhead is the father. I don't have a problem with (Dannielynn) being with Larry Birkhead, I do have a problem with her being with Howard Stern."

It's still not clear where Stern's mother is - his whole life story is a mystery. No-one can find out if he has ever been married etc., etc.,

These people were on GVS not long ago before Anna died talking about the house in the Bahamas and evicting Anna. They did not say anything ugly about Anna then either. they just wanted to explain the circumstances.
All Howard has to do to end this madness if the DNA test. But that would end his meal ticket because the media would drop him real quick.

What bothers me is that the US and Bahamian authorities seem to accept Stern's "rights" as ANS' heir/atty/spokesperson, i.e. the Medical Examiner -
Perper said he spoke with Stern and a friend of Smith's by telephone Monday morning. They provided information about her medical history, and Stern said he would meet with the medical examiner in person, Perper said.
Aren't there grandparents laws that give them the right to see their grandchildren if the parents are no longer together? Whether or not Stern had any role in ANS and her son's deaths, he comes across as guilty, vindictive, sleazy, and sadistic. It sure made him look bad and stupid not to let the grandmother see her granddaughter.
Howard's camp (and this include Mr. TrimSpa) is saying the refrigerator photo is a set up.
I believe that Birkhead has to file in the Bahamas for a DNA test and that is what Stern's attorney has been saying for a week now. You'd think Birk's attorney would know this but it took a Bahamian "legal expert" on tv last night to confirm it.

Plus she was with Birkhead until she was 5 months pregnant and wasn't 'with' HKS until later in the pregnancy.
