Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Lawyer seizes mansion

THE locks at the Bahamas mansion where Anna Nicole Smith had been living were changed Saturday for the second time in 24 hours, as a lawyer for the late reality TV star said he had retaken possession of the estate.
Outside the gated mansion known as "Horizons," attorney Wayne Munroe also told reporters that he had filed a robbery complaint with police over computer equipment and other personal effects allegedly taken from the home. He did not disclose further details.
The 39-year-old former Playboy playmate, who died at a Florida hotel on Thursday, had claimed that U.S. developer and former boyfriend G. Ben Thompson bought her the house as a gift.
The impromptu press conference outside the mansion's gates came several hours after Godfrey Pinder, an attorney for Thompson, announced he had taken control of the residence in the exclusive New Providence neighborhood by changing the locks on Friday on behalf of his client. Thompson has said the house was on loan to Smith, with whom he had a brief relationship.
But Monroe said the property belongs to Howard K. Stern - Smith's companion, who is listed on a birth certificate as the father of Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.
He added that he did not know the whereabouts of Dannielynn, who is at the center of a broadening legal battle, but emphasized that Stern is due custody of the baby.
"As the other registered parent, Howard Stern has the right to speak to the custody of Dannielynn. That has to be respected unless and until a court - not a person - says otherwise," Munroe said, standing next to Pinder.

Yes, but HK$ holds the trump card of being listed as 'father' on the birth certificate...so I doubt any kidnapping charges could ever happen. Now conspiracy charges...fraud...criminal negligence...drug posession (bet that is why 'caravans' are coming and going from the Bahamas' mansion--its clean up time)...those charges I can see being filed.

Did you read the minutes from some council meeting in The Bahamas from last year?
They were arguing over the fast-tracking of Anna Nicole's "residency" and Bahamian "citizenship" by that Immigration Minister Shane Gibson, whose mother allegedly has Dannielynn now (unless it's true that Howard Stern's mother and sister have gone there and gotten the baby!).
It said in those minutes that Shane Gibson didn't "know" Anna Nicole at all and that someone at the law firm of Callenders just told her she "ought to" set up a meeting with the Immigration Minister to work out her citizenship request.
She did so (Callenders is the law firm of Michael Scott, one of Anna Nicole's original Bahamian attorneys, who quit abruptly after Daniel's death and ANS's "commitment" ceremony and who hasn't been paid over $100,000 in legal fees) and met Shane Gibson then.
Now, he's being called her "good friend" and they left the baby with this guy's mother when they went to Hollywood/Seminole!

Do you suspect (as I do) that HK$ will agree to DNA testing of DanniLynn if he (HK$) is declared the legal heir (as her 'husband.') If that happens, no use for the baby anymore...the house (somehow) is already in his possession (how did that happen, as I didn't think ANS even owned it yet).
Well, everyone thought Thompson's house was *hers,* too, and that she had *bought* it. I take it all with a grain of salt, or a whole shaker full.
He only holds the trump card in The Bahamas. If Anna Nicole's "citizenship" is revoked posthumously, as it very well may be, that could nullify all the Bahamian documents that were executed on a fraudulent basis.

The way I see it Stern never has to prove he is the Father.
Oh yes he will. California law will come into play at some point; or is it Florida law because she died there??
