Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Meanwhile, Smith's mother was in the Bahamas, checking on the welfare of her granddaughter, 5-month-old Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern. Earlier Friday, a reporter heard a crying baby at the home of the mother of a friend of Smith's reported to be caring for her, but no one answered the door.
She is the only designer that I would let have total free reign on my house. She is so talented.

I think she wears a lot of those blazers to cover all her pregnancies... how many now? and she always stays so thin. What cracks me up is her doing all these things in heels.

Retired police officer VIRGIE ARTHUR jetted to her estranged daughter's Caribbean island home on Nassau after asking fans of the model and actress to "pray for my granddaughter," on US breakfast show GOOD MORNING AMERICA yesterday (09FEB07). Arthur, who was travelling with an entourage of family members, met with Royal Bahamas police upon her arrival in The Bahamas and sources close to the family claim she's determined to make sure her five-month-old granddaughter is well looked after. Family friends claim Arthur is hoping to gain custody of baby Dannielynn ahead of an upcoming DNA test hearing in Los Angeles on 20 February (07), when a paternity battle between Smith's exboyfriend LARRY BIRKHEAD and her attorney/partner HOWARD K. STERN will be resolved. Stern's name is named as the father on the baby's birth certificate, but Birkhead insists he's Dannielynn's biological father. The baby is reportedly being cared for at an undisclosed location by a friend in The Bahamas. Smith's longtime confidante KHRISTINE EROSHEVICH (corr), who has spent time with Anna Nicole in The Bahamas, states, "The baby is being well looked-after."

Oh, Lord.. I really worry for this baby. She needs a mother... I mean a real mother. Anna has not been in a place to mother her since Daniel died.

At the same time I was reading this, Greta was interviewing some Inside Edition dude, who says that Stern is in the Bahamas.

Greta looks frumpy in her blazers. She loses at least 10 years when you see her in jeans.
I agree with you. I really feel that Birkhead (for whatever reason) really loved her and thought they could be a family. Of course this could have been for the press but this pic is heartbreaking.

That was a good show... all her family was so worried she would hate it and she was overjoyed.
This is not Stern's baby. There is only one reason for him to keep her hidden and none of it's good.
