Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Von Anhalt, who is Gabor's eighth husband, said he and Smith first met in the 1990s when Smith was still married to elderly oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. He said Smith approached him and Gabor at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
''She was a very big fan of Zsa Zsa and wanted to be like Zsa Zsa,'' he said. ''She wanted to be a princess.''
He said the two started an affair soon after, meeting over the years in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. For much of that time, he said, Smith urged him to make her a princess like his wife.
But short of divorcing the actress, he said the only solution would have been adopting Smith. Von Anhalt said he did consider that and even filled out adoption papers, but Gabor refused to sign them.

Re: Stern...Makes me wonder if this man's in trouble regardless of where he ends up residing. He may be better served to remain in the states. Of course, I don't know squat about Bahamian law or how tough those folks are down there.
There is a new urgency to the inquest into Daniel Smith's death.
“The fact that both of them have died under sudden death circumstances makes this inquest that much more interesting,” Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez told The Associated Press.
If necessary, authorities will try to compel Stern to come to the Bahamas and testify for the inquest, scheduled to begin March 27, Gomez said.
