Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

The examiner who performed a second autopsy Sunday on the 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith, 38, said he could not yet determine Daniel Smith's cause of death, the Associated Press reports.

Cyril Wecht, a forensic pathologist who consulted on Elvis Presley’s autopsy and was involved in the government's probe into John F. Kennedy's assassination, ruled out several potential natural causes such as heart disease, stroke or a "congenital anomaly."

He also said that foul play did not appear to be involved in the young man's death.

"I don't find anything that would cause me to believe there is something in terms of some traumatic injury that was inflicted, or somebody having done something to him in some cryptic manner that could not be observed," Wecht told reporters outside the morgue where he performed the procedure.

Wecht has ordered further tests that could take weeks to complete. He said he had sent samples to a lab in the United States for examination, including toxicology tests.

Daniel Smith died unexpectedly on September 10 in his mother’s hospital room in the Bahamas, where she’d given birth to his baby sister three days earlier.

If he would have died in a US hospital, I would feel much better about what we are being told.

It seems strange that the inquest is taking so long.

ANNA NICOLE CEMETERY CLOSED TO THE CURIOUS

The cemetery where ANNA NICOLE SMITH was buried last week (02MAR07) has been closed to the public. Officials at Lakeview Cemetery on Nassau in the Bahamas have grown increasingly tired of the tourists making pilgrimages to Smith's grave in the past week, and they've decided to close all entrances and hire security to keep the curious out. Only those who have family members buried at the cemetery or people who can prove they're Bahamian citizens will be granted access. Anna Nicole's gravesite became an immediate tourist destination, following her funeral, and has attracted buses of tourists to the cemetery, prompting complaints from locals who have family members buried there.

GOOD!! I'm glad to hear that. It wasn't fair to the locals that were buried there. I think the best resting place for a well known figure has got to be Princess Diana. In the middle of a Lake (It's mythical lol) on her ancestral land.

They just replayed Shelleys testimony at the hearing on TV. And yes, it is true, the judge told him "you're done". And it wasn't in a nice way either.

Just speculation.
1. Daniel was not happy at all with the games going on. If the PI is telling the truth he did not like the people that Anna was hanging with. Hmmmm..who could that be??
2. He was turning 21 in January. He could get his own lawyer ..make his own will ..and Stern would be out as executor.
3. Stern is a control freak. Eventually they want to be the ONLY person who has any influence in their marks life.
4. At this point Stern probably had talked Anna into saying he was then Hannah now Dannielynn's father. Instant next of kin if something happened to Anna and Daniel.
5. When opportunity knocks you take it. Daniel was just visiting. What would have happened if he made it back to the states. What would that PI find?

I think the question is if we truly believe Stern killed Anna in February why was he so frantic in December after her drowning mishap (suicide?). That would have been perfect for him..but why at that time did he say.."If you die I will go to jail." What happened to make her death in February expediate for him?

OK-did Housekeeping ever go in the room. Will all these people in and out and ice baths and whatnot, looks like they would need the beds to be freshly made, trash emptied, towels, etc.

I don't know. Has anyone seen pics of what the room looked like? Was it all messy? But still i'd doubt if HKS would let anyone in that room. He probably refused the maids to come in and took the room service at the door.

Ooops I misread your question. I believe that Anna could handle all of the meds. She probably needed them to function. When Daniel got ahold of them his body couldn't take it. The drink was so she could get her fix.

She'd been hanging with Stern for a LOOOOONG time, so part of me says that's not necessarily who he meant. I wonder how long the 2 husbands had been around? Who did he mean? The Gibson family in the Bahamas?

Cuz he was faking it. And do we have proof it was a suicide attempt? Or did she get loaded and go in the pool like getting wasted at your "commitment ceremony and jumping into the ocean? I won't believe it was a suicide attempt unless there's some proof of that.

What if Howard was there and maybe he knew she was going in the water but turned a blind eye, but Moe noticed it and so then Howard comes out and acts like "OMG Anna, what are you doing?"

The comment "if you die, i'm going to jail" seems like a Freudian slip.
