Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Goodnite All. Getting tired and i can't make sense anymore. Will watch an old movie now.
Honk! I could not resist, but it is unrelated to this thread. Bye.
Has you intrigued? Remember my first post this morning? My first waking thought this morning was that Brigitte was the one on the surveillance tape.....that caused Moe to be further questioned.
Your wording tickled my funny bone :)
Maybe he can't tell the staff DNR ANS - but that's what he said he did.....
Tonight on the Greta show, her sub asked Perper can't at least a time of death for Anna? Perper then tried to say she was still warm -----but not sure when she was still warm - ---when Taz was doing rescue breathing, when Moe was doing CPR for 15 mins or for 45 minutes (whichever version you believe)....or warm when the EMT guys got there.....or warm when she got to the hospital. Either way, Perper didn't answer the question - no time of death given.
"They have both said they were there when she was found unresponsive. Each has given separate interviews, not naming the other one. Taz gave an interview to ET and Brigitte Neven and Eric Gibson were interviewed by Rita Cosby on MSNBC.
When each tells the story, the other one is not in it. When Moe has told the story in the past, he has never mentioned Brigitte being in the room, only his own wife, Taz."
Oh I forgot to mention on the Greta show - her sub had those 4 lawyer type people on and they all believed Moe's new info and the police talking to Perper made things highly suspicious that a crime may have been committed in Anna's death.
But, the big thing, was the black guy on there - who is always one of the experts - said he thinks HKS will find himself called before a grand jury investigating Anna's death and will have to get his facts straight then......
That made me wonder - since Anna died on Seminole Indian property - would such a grand jury have to be convened on that property involving only the Seminole tribe people as members?
And finally it brought me back to early in thie thread when I sort of said Tiger, the Seminole police chief was "stupid" to say that apparently no crime occurred based on his interviews with the people who were there with Anna.....and Samantha came on saying she knew Police Chief Tiger was a tough nosed police investigator with 30 years experience who would do a thorough investigation of Anna's death...but he did not like publicity and would be working hard behind the scenes.
My one hope is that Samantha knows of what she speaks - and that Chief Tiger may come out as a "hero" in all this for not stopping his investigation until he is sure the truth, the facts, have been fully discovered and, if a crime occurred, the perpetrator or perpetrators will be arrested and charged.
Welcome - thanks for the thoughts. My brain is asleep or I'd comment on your comments......but I gotta finish catching up! Am determined!!!
Smith's cause of death was inconclusive based on the findings of the initial autopsy report. Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said Friday that a stash of prescription pills was found in her room, but there were no illegal drugs, no pills detected in her stomach and no evidence that a crime had been committed.
Perper said his office was awaiting toxicology test results to determine what might have been in Smith's system to contribute to her death. He said she could have died either from complications of medications she took, from chemical substances or from a combination of natural causes and medications.

I am not sure which, if any, drugs HKS took away. Maybe the ones with his name on them I would guess.
You are stronger than me - I cannot stomach Ron Rale for one second.
O/T: great game, huh???
WOW...this info regarding the Indian child is amazing...I am speechless! The boy looks like my grandson and the photo of him crying really touched my heart...great find if its true...hope someone gets the real deal on this asap...and I reserve further comment until then. I used to live in Phoenix and although the New Times always had a liberal slant they are usually honest in their reporting. Just WOW...incredible!
Never a dull day in this saga. Who can we e-mail (media) that might go investigate this? If its true, the boy needs some publicity and a really good lawyer...
LOL - good assignment choice!
Fantastic game! So glad Duke lost - and mainly because the Henderson guy broke Tyler Hansborough's nose.....so sweet. But State played well too - for a chance!
New evidence delays announcement on cause of Smith's death
Prosecutor seeks items taken from Bahamas house

Two new pieces of evidence have delayed autopsy results in the suspicious death of Anna Nicole Smith, authorities said Thursday.
Broward Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper planned to announce his findings at a news conference today, but a Wednesday meeting with Seminole police derailed his decision for at least a week. He would not reveal what the evidence is, saying he was asked not to.
"There's a possibility that there might be information in those two items that might affect my conclusion," he said, though he said he hasn't yet seen the evidence.
Broward homicide prosecutors are assisting Perper and the Seminole Police Department to determine the cause of death, a spokesman for the Broward State Attorney's Office said Thursday.
The circumstances of Smith's Feb. 8 death are considered suspicious but homicide prosecutors are assisting only with legal issues and questions, said Ron Ishoy, a State Attorney's Office spokesman. The inquiry is not a homicide investigation, he said.

I have a slightly different take on this. I don't necessarily trust Dr. Perper. I think he's in cahoots w/Judge Seidlen and Millstein, and possibly might be on the side of Howard Stern. There are two important cases coming before the Bahamian courts in approx. a week, the one on DNA paternity stuff, and one on who owns the house. I think Perper is stalling his results past the March 14 and 16th court dates, so as not to have anything get out that might be disadvantageous to Howard Stern. My suspicious mind at work here. Perper could give out his report. These reports are the basis for any possible criminal charges to follow. His "facts" are his facts, and shouldn't be subject to change based on any criminal investigation; it should be just the other way around. The criminal investigation should be informed by Perper's findings. Something smells very fishy to me here.
Also, Perper hasn't missed a single talk show proram. He's been on them all. This guy likes the limelight and how everyone is awaiting his report. He's stalling giving out his report for more than one reason, the other his being able to stretch out his "moment of fame" to the max. He knows once his report is given out to the public he only has a couple more days left to bask in the limeight. Then he's off the stage. Then it's back to anonymity and the rest of us will have to forever guess as to why his skull is so lopsided.
Whew. Not sure I can take many more of these non-news days...Night all - thanks for all the info.
When I saw the coroner putting flowers on her grave and hugging Stren, fire alarm bells went off for me.
I think you're exactly right.
