Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I said it myself two days ago. This is truly bizarre.
He is suspiciously around a lot, isn't he? Poor baby. Poor rich baby.
"You did right by that old man and all you got was grief from his family."
I read about her and him. It was a sweet story. Yes, she made him happy, but his family didn't want her around... they wanted ALL the money from their father. They'll never be able to spend it, and they are not young!
Remember when Orlando, FL was all about Disney wholesomeness?
Oh, shoot..........that was Larry King; I didn't even recognize his voice!
Actually, Anna Nicole bore a resemblance to Marilyn Monroe, up until recently:
"I'm freaking out here. JUST THIS AM I said to hubby: "she will be dead within a year". I was watching something that had a tape of conversation w/her old boyfriend at Christmas and she SOUNDED half dead. "
OMG
Don't freak out - I had a very strong feeling myself very recently that she would die soon. It was like it was almost a foregone conclusion after her son Daniel died that she was so fragile emotionally she couldn't manage to survive. I got teary when I heard the news. I really liked her - not too bright, yes, but she seemed so sweet.
She was a little like Marilyn - you expected an early death but when you hear of it - it is still startling.
RIP Anna.
I don't know who the baby would be better off with, though the photographer didn't seem like a nutjob when I saw him in an interview once. Of course, I didn't hear the info that Stern may have given the son drugs and flushed them until this thread. FReepers sure can be on top of things. Prayers for Anna's soul, I hope she is walking with her son. Prayers for this baby whose coming years will be undoubtedly filled with many legal battles and much uncertainty.
I Agree with you Howlin 100 % , I Hope the moderators kick that person off this thread & I hit the abuse button too...
Unfortunately it was before he son died. After he died I told my husband I didn't think she would live long, she was too attached to that son and seemed sedated, from then on, every time she was seen in public. I fear there is a lot of other young girls in Hollywood who are in danger of ending this young, too.
I agree.
I don't care what persona he takes on, it still amazes me that someone with that much money would get involved in that mess for a little bit more.
If her heart had been weakened over time due to the TrimSpa, she could have easily died from the flu - assuming the story of running a high fever is correct.
Did you know she was in the Naked Gun 33 1/3 the final insult with O.J.? And also it was the last film O.J. made before his arrested.
Did HE have any heirs hiding and waiting?
Several years ago, I watched a few minutes of her show. She took a trip with Stern (first time I had ever seen or heard of him) and other "friends." Stern's opportunism was so obvious. Too bad she couldn't see what to many was as plain as the nose on your face.
She had lost the claim for her second husband's estate. All the court said that she can refile - that is what was reported a few weeks ago.
The son of the former husband who had all the money.
With Anna dead, then her ex boyfriend can now petition the court for a blood sample to settle the paternity issue. If is proves he's the father then he will get custody of the baby girl. Wouldn't it be intriguing if her death was not an accident?
I bet the fabulous war correspondent Steve Harrigan, FOX News, never thought he would be covering Anna Nicole's death, when he transferred to Miami.
