Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
We kept asking where Howard was, and the only answer I remember getting from the press reports was.....Howard is grieving.....
Questions for anyone:
1)How long did Howard stay at the Hard Rock after Anna died?
2)Did he stay additional days there?
3)Did they move him to a different room in the hotel?
4)Is it legal to get a search warrant for the room at the Hard Rock and serve it on the Hard Rock, not on HKS, in order to monitor the room where HKS was staying (if in fact they had probable cause because of what they found on the lobby cameras)? i.e. could they legally have put cameras in his room, to watch him, without his knowledge?
I saw him on TV very recently (last week?) saying he had not been paid. I think it was MSNBC.
I thought it took an extreme amount of ba!!$ for him to make a statement like that when he didn't do the autopsy; I wondered if HKS talked to him to sway his thinking.
Almost forgot about Kapoor!
I guess if Moe or Tas lawyers up and their attorney is Howard K. Stern, Esq., we'll know, lol. Or Ron R. Rale, Esq.
Isn't that incredible..
I like both you guys...:)

Granted. Wecht has been on TV for years, and a number of years ago I read one of his books and thought highly of him. I thought less highly of him after his extra-curricular activities in Pittsburgh were publicized.
As far as I'm concerned, the subject is dropped...over...done.
was there police at that point? Paramedics left with the patient.
*Somebody* did. I still want to know why *I* haven't died from any of *my* bouts of viral pneumonia. Maybe I did and this is what, hell, heaven, purgatory?
>>I like both you guys...:)<,
Thanks ;>)
You're right.
I just went to research that name as it sounds odd to me and found this recount which IIRC is quite different from what the others say.
"Brighthaupt recounted the night that Smith died. He found her on the bathroom floor????? of her Florida hotel room and saw that her lips were discolored.
"I looked at her lips. If you know Anna, she has the most beautiful pink, full lips.
[But] they were blue. I knew I had to go to action," he said.
In an attempt to revive her, Brighthaupt began administering CPR. It wasn't the first time he had tried to save Smith's life: A few weeks after Daniel's death, she fell into a pool and Brighthaupt rescued her with CPR."

Oh just stop it. I cannot take any more. Its killing me.
My head is going to explode if revealations of one more man, one more child of ANS's surfaces.
Amazingly, little ole L&O me, who doesn't want anybody to get away with anything, lol, except *moi,* gave Wecht a lot of leeway on all that stuff in Pgh.
It was political, mostly. It doesn't take away from his abilities, IMHO. But, mostly, I only stick up for him for one reason ... he blabs!
Poor Mo-Mo--He just can't keep his story straight! Lol!! :>)
IIRC, there were guys from Seminole ( paramedics and probably a cop or 2 or more) as well as the EMTs from Hollywood who transported her to the hospital. I imagine some Seminole police were on the scene during that time.
That is a gorgeous little boy. Not sure if that article was intended to be funny but it made me laugh. I want to know his d.o.b. Just playing along with this but this could account for the no other heirs clause in her November 2001 will.
