Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
He's obviously biased toward Anna's side and concludes that talk of "murder" is ludicrous.
Wecht is hardly a source of an unbiased opinion..

I agree with you. But here is what doesn't make sense to me. Why was HK$ leaving the room just as the gang was getting back from the airport? Didn't he think they were going to return? Did they get back a lot earlier than he thought they would, and took him by surprise?
It would really be helpful to know exactly where KEG was then.
I said a couple of weeks ago looked like his mother was folllowing us because of something he said his mother had emailed him on the case.
~LOL~ the Seminole Police need to read our thread.
IMO
LE does not want Perper to come out and say what drugs were in her system because they are still tracking down the prescriptions in her name if they exist and the prescribing doctors for these drugs. Simply put... she OD on drugs (probably accidently) and that is not going to change the cause of death, but once Perper says she OD', then the media is going demand to know what drugs were found in her system.
Why don't they talk about Brigette? In their accounts? If she is so key, what's wrong with mentioning this in their interviews? Also, why Brigette, and not Taz, noticing something was wrong? Are we sure Mo never entered her room that morning? We know Howard had been in her room before he magically had to leave.
Then Taz tells Mo she's fine or she's asleep, whatever, only to ring him back almost immediately in a panic because something is wrong with Anna. You say Brigette noticed something. Well, I ask why her and not anyone else? Then, I ask, if she's so key as to be the only one noticing anything, why don't they mention her in their interviews?
Hmmmmm maybe because HIS autopsy of Daniel could now be suspect. I think with enough money you can buy Wecht to say what you want him to say.
We need a photoshopper. I'm seeing that picture of Sean Penn bailing water off the boat with Moe's face overlaid.
No, I never did.
The ME can also list the cause of death as "undetermined"..

That's interesting albeit inconclusive. I guess being shifty eyed would be the real clincher. You look left to try to remember what your story was supposed to be, then you look right when you're asked a question which you weren't prepared for and have to use then creative side of your brain, then left again to try to come up with some logic to make sure that new part of your story fits into the picture.
Remember the Augustine case in Las Vegas this past summer? It was a case of going back due to more police evidence and looking for something not normally found in autopsy... they did and found what the police were looking for.
Wecht has a very bad track record. Mail Fraud and some other things.
Oh, sorry - just now back-reading and hadn't seen that you had posted a People Mag excerpt with the same info I posted after that.
I'm having to read backwards, as I've missed a bunch the last couple of pages.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Oh yeah. Wecht's "services" can be bought. Cash on the barrelhead.
What I'm trying to say-and not very well---is that the ME will not change their findings, just because the police want him to.
When I heard the interview with Perper today on FOX, he said that he was probably not going to change his findings. He said it was possible, but unlikely.
Exactly - Wecht was bought for $80,000+ (of course he was never paid) but now he has to save face with his BS autospy/tox reports. He is in deep without the 80K cash in his pocket.
