Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
~LOL~ You, too? I loved Nancy Drew Mysteries. Read them all.
Good point. Surely the Seminole police have someone watching all those interviews and doing what we are all doing here?????
I'd say he is sweating bullets right now - I am gone for few hours, please ping me if anything new comes up of importance.
Wonder what's up.
Perper knows what killed her. If it was a heart attack or stroke or massive infection...then, no matter what any investigation comes up with won't change that finding. But, if she died of drug overdose or drug related causes, then I suppose it could be ruled accidental. Unless....she was given drugs not prescribed to her. I think it was Jim Hammer on Greta last night that said if that happened, she was given drugs, that could lead to a manslaughter charge.
Breaking News on Fox....Perper to speak....coming up....at some point.....later.....lol
Dr. Perper said that someone refused to talk to him. Who was it?
Here we go....related evidence that he wasn't aware of...that he has to request.....slim chance it could change his conclusion. But it's important. Didn't talk to Dr. in Calif. (Kapoor)???
He knows nothing....additional evidence that Seminole police found. Perper wasn't aware of it. He has to request info. through police and his legal council is looking into it??
Seminole police are good guys. Been very helpful.
Baden on phone. Perper is also an attorney....according to Baden. Perper should honor the request. Sounds like the question is wether the death should be classified as a homocide. Needs to talk to Kapoor.
Kapoor has not cooperated with authorities.
Dr. Kapoor! And he might be involved with Daniel, also.
How the heck could Perper give cause of death, if it was drugs, and NOT talk to Kapoor?? wow
Aha! Thank you!
"Our work has been completed,'' Perper told The Miami Herald this morning. ``This was unexpected. But this case has more turns than anything I could have imagined."
Perper and Crybaby Judge Seidlin went into this case extremely naive about just who they were dealing with.
They didn't know the good guys from the bad guys..
sw
Good MacCallum interview w/Baden.
I get nervous about this open talk of homicide while DL is still in the custody of HKS.
Yeah. That's a zinger alright! HKS is on the brink of going to the klink i think.
Either HKS, or Dr. Kapoor is going to be charged with homocide in the deaths of ANS and Daniel, I'll just bet. Maybe both? If the Dr. prescribed the meds under a false name, and HKS gave the drugs to them, I can see them both being charged.
Me too, and I even read all the Hardy Boys as well.
Perper was also asked if the reason for the delay was related to the info Big Moe was giving to police and he said it was not. Perper said that everyone cooperated and answered his questions, except Kapoor.
Baden said that he didn't see how the results of the autospy would be changed, but that the authorities must be trying to decide if they are going to charge a homicide.
Also Baden said that Dr. Kapoor may be in some jeopard, (of losing his license.....or more?) and that is the reason he is not cooperating.
" Yes....perhaps somebody has pointed out to big Moe that actually he and his wife may be in trouble regarding their neglect to get 911 type help (not just CPR but the other things EMT's bring to a dying person)."
There is apparently a chargeable crime for medical professionals, who in an emergency refuse to help or stand around doing nothing...but, I can't remember the exact terminology.
It's got negligence in the phrase, but, not benign negligence-it's something else.
Maybe Mo has consulted a lawyer.
His story of how he, a licensed EMT and his wife, a licensed RN ( ? LPN, ? nurse's aide ) responded to a life threatening emergency- defies credulity.
It makes them look complicit in ANS death.
I think Taz and Mo could have liability in a civil wrongful death suit, regardless of the fact that they were there as " friends."
>>>I thought her eyes and lips looked almost like she had been beaten in those pictures. Too dark and too swollen.>>>
I thought she looked beat up too. Especially since one eye was more swollen than the other.
Dang Comcast again! I can't get Fox News! What's the scoop? What happened?
