Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

All the marriages do have a negative affect, I think something in that period spawned the reason ANS left school after 8th grade and was so wild in her actions... I fear for Dannielynn if she doesn't go to Larry and if he doesn't have a strong family unit to support her emotionally.

DL looks very alert and well cared for. Again (from the photos) she is holding her head up well, and looking 'aware' (the photog calling her name and she glances towards the camera). Next milestone...rolling over; learning her hands (watching her own hands with fascinaiton); grasping a toy...switching the toy from hand to hand). She seems tiny...but well cared for (good nannies).
He is definitely a pig. I had developed a great dislike for Joe Scarborough, but since he was on the show and yucking it up with Maher last weekend I'll never watch him again... (not that I have since Katrina anyway).
Sleeping that much worries me... I remember they found baby sedatives in ANS's stuff at the HardRock hotel....

My heart just aches for her, and for Virgie, who is not someone I would particularly like in real life, but would probably get along with if we were thrown together for some reason, like work or church or something.
I just can't stand seeing someone getting bullied so badly as she has been, on worldwide TV. ET is so horrible, but I watch just for clues. Tomorrow (hopefully the last of HKS's paid-for series) is the reception after the burial and more of BonBon saying her hateful, venomous spewings.
They said someone was thrown out of the party and showed a far-off silhouette of a female, fairly young (meaning not Virgie), with light brown longish hair and wearing a black skirt suit. Maybe Opri? I really can't tell, she has her back to the camera and is going out a door.
It may just be one of their horrible "teases" that isn't even addressed in the next installment, just "implied." Will be glad not to watch this crap anymore.

Hairdresser remembers Smith's idiosyncrasies

During Anna Nicole Smith's stay in Myrtle Beach in November and December 2005, hairstylist Tiffany Furey at Perfect Reflections did her hair, nails and makeup about once a week.
During that time, Smith often talked with Furey about her life.
She never did Smith's hair at the salon. Furey said she went to the home of Ford Shelley, where Smith was staying while she was visiting G. Ben Thompson.
Furey also met Howard K. Stern and son Daniel while they were in Myrtle Beach.
Smith, she recalled, loved Marilyn Monroe and talked about her often.
Furey, a mother of three who's been a stylist for 10 years, said Smith's early death saddened her, but she felt Smith might die early because "you can't live the way she did for that long."
When Smith died, Furey said she received several telephone calls from friends.
Question | How did you end up doing her hair?
Answer | Gina [Thompson's daughter] called me and asked me to do it. I worked for her at a previous salon.
Q. | What was Anna like?
A. | She is naturally pretty without makeup. She's a beautiful woman. I never saw her coherent. She always seemed out of it. Once she thought there were two people doing her nails when there was just me.
Howard also asked me to leave the room once while he gave Anna her medicine.
As crazy as she was on her [reality] show, that's how she was in real life. She fell off stools while I was doing her hair and a lot of hairdressers wouldn't put up with that. She was always eating grapefruit.
Q. | How did Anna Nicole like her hair?
A. | She wanted "beach hair" - wavy and soft and she had a head full of extensions. She likes big hair. Once, she wanted pink and purple extensions to put in her hair to make it what she called "mermaid hair."
Q. | Did she have a special way she liked her nails?
A. | She called it "glamour nails," but they were really long with a French manicure.
Q. | In your conversations with her, what was it that she talked about?
A. | She said Marilyn Monroe was her idol. She spent Christmas here and all her gifts were Marilyn Monroe - she had photos and purses.
She said she wanted children, and right after that she told me she was pregnant. She loved her son, Daniel. She loved to watch Lifetime [the TV channel].
Q. | She was often seen with pets on television. How many pets did she have?
A. | She had a white silky terrier named Marilyn, and two Shih Tzus and a poodle, I think.
Q. | How did she dress?
A. | She was always in pink, usually wearing jeans, little baby tees or studded T-shirts. She had clothes from The Limited and Victoria's Secret. She liked pink and purple - it went with her mermaid hair.
Q. | Do you have any particular story that you remember?
A. | She was having pictures made on the beach and she said "I want cat eyes." So I made her eye makeup darker. When I was done, she looked in the mirror and said "I have cat eyes" while making cat claw motions with her hands.
Well, that is an interesting turn of events. I hate how they are teasing through this and the amount of commercials they have sold to pay for it is dragging it on all week. I assume it will be replayed on Saturday?
Yeah, most likely. I don't know which things they pick out to put in the weekend one. It's also on Sunday night here, too.
And if I want to, I can even watch it again tonight, lol, plus one called "Extra". Still haven't laid eyes on Access Hollywood, tho. But that's OK!

SHARON and OZZY OSBOURNE paid tribute to tragic model/actress ANNA NICOLE SMITH at her funeral in the Bahamas last week (02MAR07) by sending a wreath of daisies and roses that spelled 'Anna' to the burial site in Nassau.
" The point is - she let slip - "we convinced Anna" to do the marriage thing with Stern. She didn't want to do it - and once again, Stern lied."
Excellent point! You're probably right about the lady doc either letting it slip about Anna being convinced to marry the toad or depending on the scheme, she might have even been lying about Anna agreeing to a marriage.
Wasn't this lady Doctor the first person that Stern called after learning of Anna's death? She was also supposedly there when Anna was running the '105 degree temperature', which begs the question, why the heck didn't the good doc get Anna some help?
I wonder if Greta is aware of the lady doc and if so, has Greta tried to get her on the air, to explain what happened. Early on, Greta was asking questions about the timeline. Hopefully she's still trying to figure out what happened to both Anna and Daniel.
One more thing - wonder if Dr Perper knows about this lady doc? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..

I wonder if she or HKS knew the dangers of mixing grapefruit and drugs?? Wonder if that's how she lost so much weight - at least 70 pounds - when she became the Trimspa model. I wouldn't put it past HKS to have fattened her up so she would have 'before' and 'after' photos for the infamous Trimspa.
I doubt Stern gave a rip about her health. In fact, he probably viewed her as an object. An object that would one day bring him millions of the Marshall dollars. Now that ANS is gone, its her baby who is HKS's ticket to millions. He is holding her as a prisoner, just like he did to Anna.

I wonder if ole Howard kept her medicine under his control so he could dole it out as he saw fit, with a side of Grapefruit for good measure. What a creep!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep. He was the pusher alright. Do you understand what a drug addict is? They'll do anything for the next fix. So I reiterate he DRUGGED her when she was in detox in the hospital!
Even though she's paid the ultimate price for her crimes I'm not going to sugarcoat all the mayhem and mischief she bought into her life.

I think it's pretty obvious that when she cut someone out of her life it was for good.
Right. And she began to cut people out of her life for good when HKS came into her life or not long after that.
She wasn't going back to Birkhead and she would still be fighting today to keep that child away from him if she was alive.
If she were alive today as an addict, you would mostly likely be right about that. But i think (and we're both making assumptions here) that she wanted to get off the drugs and if she were successful at that (against HKS's will) was trying to make a family with her two children and Larry.

Maybe the person holding the baby, didn't think it was safe for Anna to handle the baby. OR HKS posed them that way so he'd get good head shots of both of them to sell. Ugh and did his voice and his little comment about how nobody wants clothes for Christmas make you sick like it did me? Even tho he quickly backtracked and said how cute the were tho. What a phony!
