Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Maybe Anna was telling Howard to update the will and the policies after Dannielynn was born and that is why he killed her. Yeah, it's a no brainer and has probably been said before.

Anna didn't necessarily have to know about them just because Daniel was the first beneficiary. It would only make sense that her only child would be the primary beneficiary. And HKS knew that.

Larry will get custody and take the baby back to the states. Anna's other house will have to be sold so the money can go to her estate. IMO
I'm sure HKS will drag that out for a good long time though.
Her ET video was quite convincing. Scary even. Heck, if she could have acted like that in movies she could have been an oscar winning actress. That was good stuff. She obviously could be strong and mean when necessary. Why ANS insisted on playing the dumb blonde with the baby voice is unclear.
Anyway, it does seem Virgie is being judged rather harshly. At this point, it seems unfair. I am withholding judgment -- so far -- given the fact that she raised Daniel for her all those years and seemed to want what was best for ANS.
They can't possibly. It's not possible that not one person in any of these newsrooms didn't think or say, "wait, this woman was high when she made this video, how do we know she means what she says?"
Caught a thing on TV Guide channel of all places last night. Doctor Pinski was on saying of course she had pneumonia and the drugs hid it and probably caused her death... then they asked Doctor Baden if he agreed and he said absolutely not, that in fact abuse of drugs -- like Methadone -- can cause fluid in the lungs and pneumonia, not the other way around, he said Pinski wasn't looking approaching it from a clinical aspect like a coroner does.
Mixing certain drugs, especially the kind that affect your thinking, can have the affect of making a person very angry and delusional. I suspect that is what was going on with her at that time. And Howie called ET in right away to capture the moment.
Good point. I think her lawyers didn't really present her side of the case as sympathetically as they could have. It's not really her fault. It made her look cold to want to separate Anna from Daniel when we heard over and over that's what Anna wanted.
From day one they should have argued for the burial of Daniel and Anna *together* in CA or TX or somewhere in the USA. Not having Billy Smith as their first LIVE witness was a big mistake if the families were working together to bury them together in the USA. Now it's all too little too late.
Having said all that, if LB is proven to be the dad and she fights LB for custody of DL, my opinion of her will change drastically, I think.

Even if it wasn't ANS, a known druggie, you'd have to assume that a person that had just lost their son, what a week or two prior, would be on some drugs. And yet nobody questioned if she was on drugs when that video of her "wishes" and "hatred of her mother" was made.
Anna was on antidepressants for sure. valium, most likely. Pain killers, yeah. Only G-d and at least one other person know for sure.
I have no doubt that ANS's estrangement from Virgie has less to do with what Virgie may have done or not done in the past and much more with Virgie's disapproval of ANS's drug use and lifestyle as well as Virgie's attempts to get ANS to end her addiction.
How can everyone ignore the fact that ANS allowed Virgie to raise her precious Daniel for 1/3 of his life!? She couldn't have been so bad.
Thanks for that very interesting tidbit! It also explains why Birkhead is not going to let this just go away and will fight to the end for his daughter.
Some of the people I talk to were influenced by Anna's video condemning Virgie. They think Anna meant it, and are especially influenced by the many years of estrangement. They're not considering the drug factor, or if she might have been acting. As far as most of the media goes, they just don't want to side with Virgie because she's not their type. Virgie has gone through a lot the past few weeks and has a tough road ahead of her. IMO
I saw a picture of him with his parents. His father is quite elderly. I found it very sad at that stage in his life he'd be supporting his deadbeat son.
