Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Posted on 02/08/2007 12:39:03 PM PST by kcvl

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I'm guessing the cloth cover on the casket represents her burial dress.

Ooh. Right. Do you think Howie had them make that up at the last minutes since they couldn't show her body/dress? Or was it part of the whole plan to begin with?

In other news from ANNAother thread:

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE TODAY

"The moon will turn shades of amber and crimson Saturday night as it passes behind the Earth's shadow in the first total lunar eclipse in three years. The eclipse will be at least partly visible from Asia to the Americas, although those in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will have the best view. Lunar eclipses occur when Earth passes between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light. The event is rare because the moon spends most of its time either above or below the plane of Earth's orbit. Although it will pass completely under Earth's shadow, light from the sun will still reach the moon after being refracted through Earth's atmosphere, giving the moon an eerie dark reddish tinge. Earth's shadow will begin moving across the moon at 3:18 p.m. EST Saturday, with the total eclipse occurring at 5:44 p.m. EST and lasting more than an hour.

You're right. It's all in the bridge of the nose. It's quite unusual.

Good morning sleepyhead. I've been waiting for someone to get up and come out and play. Where are all our east coasters? Sleeping in or doing chores or something? EAST COAST, REPRESENT!

OK, my stomach is settled down now. This burial cloth must be an exhibit for ANNALAND. But he'd probably make more off it if he sold it on ebay.

It's shopping day, banking day and all those little things so tomorrow will remain a day of rest.

I've been up woking since 4 A.M. and am ready for a nap but the Post Office is a MUST this AM.

The bus tragedy with those college kids is just horrible and combined with the tornadoes that ripped through the high school. Prayers for all. There are a lot of sad parents and friends today.

I guess that's what bothers me about the "knocking" Virgie. She's the mother. There are millions of children that are estranged from their parents. It doesn't mean that there is no love there. It's always there.

Someone once told me that the only REAL tie humanity has is between mother and child. It's not to say, fathers don't love. I have no doubt about my father's love for me and of course it applies to most. I have no doubt about Virgie's love for her daughter or her desire for her grandchild.

Parents take on obligations and as far as I can see, Virgie did everything she could to keep Anna from going astray. It's not that she couldn't have gone to school etc and become a "giving" human being, it's the path she chose that eventually destroyed her. I feel sorry for her but will never condone the drugs and "sleep around" garbage.

BIG P.S.: Yesterday or maybe even a couple days ago, I wrote that if they were getting married in two weeks, why didn't Anna order a dress....or even mention the wedding to come.

Have now heard that her burial dress was similar to the wedding dress which was under way.

I think someone was reading FR.

So I'll add this. If they were going to be married for real...They would have sent out invitations already because many friends like Rale are in the USA AND they would have asked about scheduling it in church and a reception someplace.

So, what did the invitations look like? How many were there and was the day she died, the day that Howard was supposed to put them in the mail.

Thought I'd help Howie with his script. He's overlooked a few things that he needs to make his story fit.

I believe the mother child is the strongest relationship in most cases. My mother is terminally ill right now and it's tearing me up unless i keep my mind occupied on other things. And when i call her i always feel better. She's in PA, i'm in CA.

But it probably is different for men and their children. The other day, at the lumberyard, the old gentleman who was helping me told me, "it's too bad we can't go straight to our grandchildren and skip the children". It was kinda funny. I was my grampa's favorite (or so all the other grandchildren and most of the family thought). But then i was the first. But i once asked my grandma a long time ago "who do you love more, your children or your grandchildren". She said "my children".

I have one theory. And this is gonna sound really bad. But i think that most mothers would rather have a granddaughter than a grandson. I've seen it so much. And i'm not ready to be a grandmother yet. Or rather, my children are not ready to be parents yet. But if/when they are married, you bet i'll be the type who keeps saying "when are you gonna gimme a grandchild". And i hope it'll be a girl.

They said there are no policies at all on Anna

My husband told this last night (about the no insurance policies). I didn't see Greta as we had just gotten back from Branson and the Dixie Stampede and I was busy getting ready for bed. Reading what you posted, I see now what is "up". The TrimSpa guy was just saying there are no policies on her regarding TrimSpa. How would he know what policies were on her that were bought by HKS or ANS unless he was told by HKS? AND why in the world would he tell him that anyway AND who would believe him anyway?!

I'm wondering about the diaries. We know they have auctions but I don't believe they ever say who owns it. That's how it works here. My best guess is that Howie knew it was going to be auctioned and called in a shark. Amazingly, the shark sold the diaries to Howard's sister instead of putting the stuff on Ebay. I know it happens because I've seen it done. It's illegal here.

Oh Sac, you are making this so difficult for Howie. Now he's gonna have to go out and think of a story about the invites.

Well he'll probably just say that it was going to be a small secret ceremony. OK, Howie, then who were the witnesses going to be? Oh, you hadn't picked them yet? Oh ok. If you say so.

And btw, if it's not true that the bridal gown was underway and the designer said so cuz Howie told him to say so, he's gonna be a potential witness against HKS.

I think everyone is about to do an about face on Howie. He's in a heap of doodoo.

Lemme get this straight. Howie had the diaries. They were not stolen? He sold them to a shark (a middleman?) who in turn sold them to Howies sister. Or maybe there were more middlemen involved so the trail isn't so clean? Did i get that right?

If those diaries don't have incriminating stuff in them i'll eat my hat. Because if they were clean, he'd use them to write the biggest bestest tell all book in the world.
