Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Believe it. They are using us for material. I have heard them say many things that we posted days beforehand. Today they're talking about the theory that exhuming Daniel is a ruse for getting Anna moved out of the Bahamas. We (I at least) said that days ago.
I've been trying to post every thousandth post, but you all are too fast for me. I've attempted to evict someone from the 20000th post so I can take it over . . . that should work . . if it does, I'll be back, regrettably, to also evict you from the 21000th position.
Yes I saw your reports today that Virgie was cheered and Stern was booed....and then it was reported just the opposite by other networks. Even NG had somebody on tonight - the bald guy - who was talking about the cemetery - not the church -saying the spectators cheered LB but booed Virgie. When asked why, he said the Bahamian people have told him they are just tired of the delay - and wanted Anna to be laid to rest by her son.

It's not like most of us tried to be a thousanth post. It just happened. #20000 did plan it. He/she even told me this a.m. that that was what he/she was here to do today.
HKS's face, reminds me of the joker in the first Batman movie. His total black outfit today, was perfect for representing the * true side * he represents - the Dark Side.
Hmmm. My guess is that was an excuse for the poor attendance. Blame it on the GAL. Is his "wife" a woman?

Although the circumstances for which this thread exist are sad, so far this has been a very friendly, information sharing, accomadating thread. We could use more like this.
I hope that it continues.
Now I think that it is time for me to go to bed before I am thrown out of the house along with my computer or either yall may have to give me one of those over-the -top fuNerals.

I don't know. I have a bit different perspective on things, thus far. I've followed this thread, used to watch the ANS show with hubby once in a while, and am in a watch and wait mode. There's a whole bunch we just aren't privy to, there's been tons of misinformation (from all sides), and I just can't bring myself to hang Howard yet. Of all the characters, I like Larry B. probably the best, but all my opinions are subject to change. I guess I'm the type who can't quite string somebody up until more of the facts are in and undisputed. LOL!- that's why I've been reluctant to post on the thread:)

The honest truth is that I remembered him being a little short in comparision to his wife, and on tonight's LKL, I thought he might have been standing on a Tom Daschle-like little podium.

I have seen enough of Stern, however, including today's rant against Anna's mother right there in front of God and everyone at Anna's funeral!!!! - to be able to form an opinion of him.
Creep, toad, goat, snake, vermin - sum it up for me.
Do I think he did away with Daniel and Anna Nicole - well - yes I do - whether directly or indirectly - I do blame him for the deaths of these 2 people. In other words, I think both Daniel and Anna Nicole would be alive today if it weren't for Howard Stern.
Was it premeditated murder? There is not enough evidence for that....yet. Anna was going to be testifying sober in the upcoming inquest into Daniel's death. Not good for Howie if he had something to do with Daniel's death. Money. Plenty of motive. Presence - plenty of opportunity.
Haven't we seen enough of these husbands/boyfriends/lovers killing wives/girlfriends/lovers after first being thought to have nothing to do with the deaths to know it's a possiblity?
All I want is for somebody in an official investigative capacity to be looking into the possibility that these are two crimes. NO matter how loudly Stern shrieks against Virgie - she was the ONLY ONE who publicly warned her daughter about the dangers she faced. Obviously Howie didn't see any danger - even when Anna had a 105 degree temperature!
