Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

The article also mentions Dr. Perper had said the body may not be suitable for viewing because it was decomposing. Now he said that what, more than a week ago. But they'll show her just the same because after all, what would the pictures be worth without her decomposing face.
And btw, i'm wearing a pink robe right now. What have you got on ;-)
Do you suppose Stern will make the cemetery people remove all those other flowers from other peoples graves so they won't clash with the huge pink runway that he's going to have when they bring Anna's body in?

NEW YORK _ Anna Nicole Smith will be dressed in a specially made pink gown and tiara for a funeral as "over the top" as she was.
The blond bombshell will be laid to rest Friday _ with an urn containing ashes of her billionaire second husband _ following a sendoff in a Bahamian church decked with pink lilies and peonies, sources said.
The former model's final fashion statement will be a full-length dress designed by her close pal Pol Atteu, who also designed the outfit for her commitment ceremony to lawyer Howard K. Stern.
"It will be something very beautiful, very private, very over the top and very pink," said Atteu's partner, Patrik Simpson.
"Of course it will be over the top, because it's Anna Nicole."
Smith's long-awaited final journey was expected to start early Friday. A police escort was to accompany the hearse from the Florida morgue where it has lain since her death Feb. 8 to Miami International Airport.
The body will be flown by private jet, arriving at in the Bahamas at 9 a.m., and then be driven to Mount Horeb Baptist Church for a 10:30 a.m. service.
"Entertainment Tonight" said country star Joe Nichols will sing to 100 invitation-only mourners, including Stern and Larry Birkhead _ the Los Angeles photographer who, like Stern, claims to be the father of Smith's baby daughter, Dannielynn.
Virgie Arthur, the cover girl's estranged mother who had sought to have her daughter buried in Texas, is also expected to attend, as is Smith's father, Don Hogan _ against Stern's wishes.
"If it was up to Anna, none would come because she didn't consider any of them family," he told "The Insider."
The church's pastor refused to conduct the service, saying he could not accept the limitations Stern wanted.
"They wanted to have a very private service and nobody else in the church," Bishop Neil Ellis told the New York Daily News. "I couldn't function with all of that."
It was not clear Thursday night who would officiate in his place.
After the service, Smith will be buried at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with only 30 close friends in attendance.
Those guests will write messages on pink heart-shaped cards and throw them into the grave as Smith is laid in a plot beside her son, "Entertainment Tonight" said. Daniel Smith, 20, died last year of a suspected accidental drug overdose.
Some of the ashes of J. Howard Marshall, the octogenarian oilman Smith married when she was 26, will be placed in the coffin, "Entertainment Tonight" said. Marshall died in 1995, and Smith spent the last 12 years battling for a share of his estate.
My husband actually RETIRED yesterday, so he's home waiting for me to finish getting ready and take off for the day.
I'm going to miss the funeral! I'll have to catch everything tonight on Greta and other shows...
