Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Good question! What kind of insurance carrier would pay out that quickly under such suspicious circumstances...and without a Death Certificate?....unless he got something from Perper - stating "undetermined".

Limited Florida Deaths were recorded between the years of 1877 and 1917
Cause of death becomes public information 50 years following the death. Prior to that time, cause of death is considered confidential by Florida law
If you are requesting the cause of death, you must explain your relationship to the person whose record you are requesting. If a relationship is not stated, you will be issued a certified copy excluding cause of death information.
By law, certification of death records which includes cause of death information can only be issued to the following:
the decedent's spouse, parent, and (if of legal age) child, grandchild, or sibling, or any person who provides a will, insurance policy or other document demonstrating their interest in the estate of the decedent or any person who provides documentation that he or she is acting on the behalf of any of the before named persons.)
or by court order directing Vital Statistics whom to issue a death record to.

Insurance companies will not pay unless there is a cause of death. Period.
