Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Maybe Larry needs to get his family down to the Bahamas to show he has a support system?
The baby comes with a lifetime supply of money
Are you serious?? You mean a court can take away a child from the birth parent/family if they don't make a certain level of income?? Or if they don't live in a nice, middle-class suburb?
Surely not.
Probably drugged. Make sure she slept through the visit.

Convention on the Rights of the Child (there are 41 articles - I am only posting 3 below - go to link to read all of them if you like)
http://www.ppu.org.uk/learn/texts/convention1.html
-------
Article 8
Preservation of identity
The State has an obligation to protect, and if necessary, re- establish basic aspects of the childs identity. This includes name, nationality and family ties.
1. States Parties undertake to respect the right of the child to preserve his or her identity, including nationality, name and family relations as recognised by law without unlawful interference.
2. Where a child is illegally deprived of some or all of the elements of his or her identity, States Parties shall provide appropriate assistance and protection, with a view to speedily re-establishing his or her identity.
Article 9
Separation from parents
The child has a right to live with his or her parents unless this is deemed to be incompatible with the childs best interests. The child also has the right to maintain contact with both parents if separated from one or both.
1. States Parties shall ensure that a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will, except when competent authorities subject to judicial review determine, in accordance with applicable law and procedures, that such separation is necessary for the best interests of the child. Such determination may be necessary in a particular case such as one involving abuse or neglect of the child by the parents, or one where the parents are living separately and a decision must be made as to the childs place of residence.
2. In any proceedings pursuant to paragraph 1 of the present article, all interested parties shall be given an opportunity to participate in the proceedings and make their views known.
3. States Parties shall respect the right of the child who is separated from one or both parents to maintain personal relations and direct contact with both parents on a regular basis, except if it is contrary to the childs best interests. 4. Where such separation results from any action initiated by a State Party, such as the detention, imprisonment, exile, deportation or death (including death arising from any cause while the person is in the custody of the State) of one or both parents or of the child, that State Party shall, upon request, provide the parents, the child or, if appropriate, another member of the family with the essential information concerning the whereabouts of the absent member(s) of the family unless the provision of the information would be detrimental to the well-being of the child. States Parties shall further ensure that the submission of such a request shall of itself entail no adverse consequences for the person(s) concerned.
Article 10
Family reunification
Children and their parents have the right to leave any country and to enter their own for purposes of reunion or the maintenance of the child-parent relationship.
1. In accordance with the obligation of States Parties under article 9, paragraph 1, applications by a child or his or her parents to enter or leave a State Party for the purpose of family reunification shall be dealt with by States Parties in a positive, humane and expeditious manner. States Parties shall further ensure that the submission of such a request shall entail no adverse consequences for the applicants and for the members of their family.
2. A child whose parents reside in different States shall have the right to maintain on a regular basis, save in exceptional circumstances personal relations and direct contacts with both parents. Towards that end and in accordance with the obligation of States Parties under article 9, paragraph 1, States Parties shall respect the right of the child and his or her parents to leave any country, including their own, and to enter their own country. The right to leave any country shall be subject only to such restrictions as are prescribed by law and which are necessary to protect the national security, public order (order public), public health or morals or the rights and freedoms of others and are consistent with the other rights recognised in the present Convention.
Sure they can when it comes to 2 parties wanting custody of a child. It would be Birkhead ~Vs~ Virgie.
Remember that Birkhead was not married to Anna - which is another factor - basically it would be Birkhead & Virgie on even ground when it comes to custody of the baby since Birkhead was not married to Anna. That is when they start looking deeper into each parties life style, home life, income, etc. (even the age of the parties fighting for custody becomes a factor.)
I am not telling you I agree with this - but that is just how things play out during custody battles - everything weighs in.
I just don't see how Virgie would ever be given the child over Birkhead...unless he would be declared a drug addict, criminal, or some other type of "unfit" parent status.
If Larry is the real father, then the child belongs to him.
I take it you have never been through a custody battle before.
No, and I can't believe the rules of life which have been in existence since the beginning of time have suddenly changed.
Children always belong to their parents...been this way for centuries.
(only exception if some court declares a parent "unfit")
I do not believe that the ER put any drugs into her at all. I had heard early on that the report said she was DOA when the EMT's got to her room in the hotel. Also, her head was covered on the stretcher when they brought her into the hospital, no one working on her & no one rushing either. There were eye witnesses at the hospital that were interviewed & they all said she was covered completely up & no one rushing & that they had heard DOA also.
MyNetworkTV Presents Special on Anna Nicole Smith
By The Associated Press
MyNetworkTV, in desperate need of attention-worthy programming, has jumped on the Anna Nicole Smith bandwagon with the mini-network's first-ever special, As Anna's World Turns.
The one-hour bio special tracing Smith's life and death will be presented on MyNetworkTV at 9 p.m. March 7.
Hosted by Access Hollywood's Tony Potts, and produced by Access Entertainment News Prods., the program will also take a close look at some of the key players in the drama playing out now in the courts. They include Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead, who are both battling for custody of Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn.
OK who had her computer at this time? (The Thompson crew - or the police had it - someone surely booted up her computer and logged on the internet with it before they hurried up and closed Anna's buddy list on her computer)
BIRKHEAD'S ONLINE ENCOUNTER WITH DEAD ANNA NICOLE
2007-02-28 04:49:53 -
ANNA NICOLE SMITH's ex-boyfriend had a spooky encounter with the late model two days after her death, when her name inexplicably popped up on his computer's 'buddy list'.
LARRY BIRKHEAD was still trying to come to terms with Smith's 8 February (07) death when he was stunned by an moment of online madness.
In a tearful interview on last night's (27FEB07) US news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, the photographer said, "I was online two days later and my buddy list was on one side of the computer screen and I looked over and her name flickered." Sobbing Birkhead, whose last correspondence with his ex was via a nasty text message over his paternity battle for her baby daughter DANNIELYNN, admits he'd have loved to get any email from Smith.
He added, "I would take it if she got on there and said anything; she could have cussed me out, she could have said anything. I just wanted to hear something... but it just went off."
And it would be poetic justice if Stern got stuck with the baby and NO MONEY. (Not for the baby of course!)
That is very true. Too much coincidence there plus a TON of other suspicious circumstances.
OOOHHH. But the creep will just say and may have proof to show (in court) that he'd had to have Anna's number changed often.
Hey Twinkie, you made post #19000! Hip Hip....Hooray!
