Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
She doesn't look well. She didn't even look too healthy at the start of all this.

I think we have something going on behind the scenes here...like matching prescriptions with what's in her system. I'd see if Howard, Taz and Mo had any prescriptions lately, too.
Just that those on Exstacy experience similar sensations as to what you had described of marijuana users.
Don't know from personal experience (honest! ;), just studies on the effect of the drug.

She was there because the Shelly family was in the Bahamas on vacation and ANS insisted that he let her have a play day with Riley.. they said she had spent a lot of time with Riley at their home in Myrtle Beach (HKS not present) and they were very fond of each other; he had no real reason to be worried..
I'm guessing that HKS may have gotten all the drugs out of the house. Cuz who knows when the FBI could swoop in with a search warrant. Altho how HKS will survive without his fix could be a problem. Druggies who don't get their drugs can be awfully difficult. I hope the baby doesn't cry too loud.

When Gina was describing how ANS said she just wanted her and Riley to be alone to play....matching dolls and buggies, coloring books, etc......I wondered why Gina and Ford didn't find that situation screwy. With ANS, though, nobody seemed to be able to tell her no. No matter what....

I don't know. The Shelley's didn't seem to want or need anything from Anna, unlike most of the other people/"friends" she had around her.

Yes. Be careful. It not only runs rampant in hospitals and nursing homes/assistant living facilities, but they're finding it in gyms now.

I suggest that you ask your friend in CA what she thinks about the video tape of Anna and possibly what Anna may have been on at the time.
She may be able to give you a better insight into how people act when they are doped up on pot because not everyone acts the same while on it, it all depends on the quality of the weed, how much you smoke and how often it is smoked. I am not willing to share my own personal past experiences here on FR. I will only say I have been around it often in my life in the past which included many people who smoked it.
I wonder if LE did check her for past marijuana abuse. If so and if she did use it regularly it will pop up but I have no idea if they will bring it up.
And Connor was found on Palm Sunday, Laci the next day - then Scott arrested on Good Friday. Holy Week, full circle from the Christmas holiday when the crime happened.
(Ooops, I just realized last week that I called last Thursday, the day after Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and I was thinking of the Thursday of Holy Week. Duuuh, CRS. That was the day I was baptized, you'd think I'd remember it wasn't at the start of Lent! Oh well, I'm not Catholic.)
Understanding the estrangement does not mean that Virgie did not love her daughter. Remember ANS' diaries - are written from her drug-induced perspective (or someone else).
Having daughters, being a daughter and watching daughters interract with their mothers, it seems to me - mothers love and forgive their children's sins. Not sure it always works the other way.

I like to walk barefoot. But have learned that these infections are most likely to occur thru a cut in the foot. In fact that's how it happened to my friend. So i've got to give up that hillbilly habit of walking barefoot. But that would be consistent with your assertion that it's becoming more common in gyms. Where people take showers, bare feet...
When I watched how "outraged" Ford was on Greta and then on the stand....only to find out that he met with Stern and Larry after court.....I figured I read him wrong. His "I'll never forgive you, Howard" just rings hollow for me.
Either he felt Goat put his daughter in a terrible situation, or he doesn't.
