Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

You know, on their behalf, Howard did testify that Anna was concerned about bugs getting at her body after she was buried.
It may be contributory negligence. He would want to get rid of "I'm the husband" at this point because then he has a legal responsibility for her care and well being.

Then maybe she should have considered cremation. It was good enough for the "love of her life," Howard Marshall. She even managed to get a court to divvy up his remains.

I bet HKS will sue the hotel/ hotel doctor now! Do we know whether the hotel doctor actually examined ANS or just prescribed the flu medicine after talking to HKS (or ANS?) on the telephone? That will make a difference as to whether a cause of action exists.
If she was actually examined by the hotel doctor then HKS can say he was relying on the Dr. When Moe spoke about this I only heard him mention a prescription from the hotel doctor. It was never clear whether the doctor ever saw her.
Well, I heard 1:05 and now 1:15.
This really concerns me. If he was called at 1:15 (worse 10 minutes earlier), and Mo was the one who called him. And Tas called Mo...what the H-E hockey sticks was Tas doing for nearly a half hour before she initiated the call to 911?
Puleez.....He said both Daniel and Anna were afraid of bugs. Anna's mom said she was a tomboy and played with frogs.....which is a huge green bug. Grandma would know about Daniel, too.....but it wasn't mentioned in the Dr. ?? video.
If a hotel doctor saw her he would have to rely on what she told him about her medical history because he obviously has know other way of knowing this having been called in as a temporary physician. Obviously he was not told about the boat load of meds she was taking incorrectly so I believe that doctor's and the hotel's liability would be limited in a case like this.
No, because the hotel doctor probably told Howard she really belonged in a hospital and put it in his notes.
So they covered their butts from being sued for "wrongful death, or contributory negligence" by not taking Anna to the hospital.

For all we know, Anna thought she should be in the hospital, too. We only have the word of a bunch of liars.
True enough, but will that stop HKS from trying to shift blame? Don't know. A settlement is always nice....
