Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Is the lure of 'facetime' on TV that strong that people are will to risk criminal charges by giving constant interviews? Or are all of the people just that dumb...it really makes me wonder.

It's a Fox News "Entertainment reporter". There is no such thing. It's beginning to look like all Entertainment reporters accept payola and serve as publicists. The whole industry is foul.

That's totally true. If you piss off one of these people you lose access to them and their friends and anyone else with the same publicist, etc.

The only ones who do a "valuable service" are the paparrazzi who sneak around and get those pictures of Britney with no hair, etc. The stories that accompany the pictures are BS. Oh poor Britney. She's having a nervous breakdown, going to rehab.

Please don't be offended by "valuable service". It would be better if we didn't see any pictures at all or care about celebrities at all, but we do for some reason.

Yes it does smell foul to me as well. Opri was all smiles in that 'kumbaya' moment with all parties together (at the bank of mikes after the Seidlin ruling). She seemed the one in charge. Also, remember how Opri mentioned that 'Larry will see his baby soon' and LB kind of looked shocked by her statement (like LB wished she hadn't made it public).

I think this 'leak' is more to rattle Team Virgie (divide and conquer) than anything else.

Many, many courts have ruled that grandparents have rights to their grandchildren. Howard knows that and Seidein made a point of that in court. So any "nice, nice" toward Virgie is so the matter can't evolve into another suit.

Good morn!!! And LOL at the watch reference. Have either of you seen the 'TV block' ad where the mom stands in the doorway, telling the three gangster type guys that 'hitting Vinnie over the head with the shovel was a little graphic, I am going to have to block you.' And the one wiseguy says 'I have to make this up to you, here's Vinnie's watch, I want you to have it.' Well ever since the famous Rolex gifty to Gibson, I just laugh at that and picture HK$ 'really, Shane, I want you to have this watch.' (Just a little aside :)

We had an interesting case here in NYS. A couple was killed in a car accident. Their wills stated that the kids should go to their best friends....a lovely couple with kids the same age as theirs. The judge gave the kids to the grandmother, a single woman, age 60. The kids were about 9 and 11 at the time.

So any of you folks who think that your will can hold up no matter who protests, think again.
