Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

The Broward County chief medical examiner, Dr. Joshua Perper, is speaking now about the disposition of the body of Anna Nicole Smith.
DR. JOSHUA PERPER, BROWARD COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINER: This is the decision of the judge at this time. There is an appeal. You never know the results of an appeal, but I would say that it's very unlikely, in my opinion, that the appeal will be successful.
QUESTION: So how long will the body remain (UNINTELLIGIBLE)?
PERPER: I cannot hear.
QUESTION: How long will the body remain here?
PERPER: The body would remain here until a final decision of the court is valid. At this time, I have a court order but the court order is under appeal, so I'm not going to rush anything. Anyway, the things cannot be rushed because there are bureaucratic procedures which have to be carried out.

SEIDLIN: And I hope to God you guys give the kid the right shot.
MOOS: The judge empathized with Anna Nicole.
SEIDLIN: You know, she had to live all of her years under this kind of exposure. I just get a week and a half of it and it's ready to flatten me down.

MURPHY: You know, I don`t know the answer, because I`m not an expert in Bahamian law. But I know that Howard K. Stern is sitting pretty in the Bahamas, where their laws are so ridiculous. You are the presumed father if you were at the birth, sign the papers and live with the mother for a period of time before she gave birth. It`s really hard to challenge that.
BECK: So wait a minute. So he can leave the country and go back to the Bahamas and then just live there with the child?
MURPHY: In a mansion for which he paid not a dime that was roughly stolen from the owners.
BECK: Oh, my God.
MURPHY: Yes. Because the Bahamian laws are not remotely civilized compared to ours, which aren`t that great to begin with. And the -- one hopes that people in the Bahamas and hopefully some folks here are doing a murder investigation behind the scenes. That may help clear up a lot of it.

I know he didn't make a lot of people happy with the way he handled his courtroom. I'm just sick of seeing cold blooded lawyers and I thought it was nice to see someone who seemed to care about his decision.

Gosh, thanks... I wasn't sure if I should have posted that, but that's my concern, too. As I said in a previous comment, I have no idea how much power Milstein has as GAL, but if he has a say in to whom Dannilynn is awarded, I'm rather concerned.
I don't think he has any say in anything other than custody of ANS body unless that changes
