Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Kimmie said that? Please let me know when you remember which show it is
Oh, it will - but the ANS/HKS lead attorney (Munroe) said it might take 15 days or it might take 15 months.
I have no clue. But, the judge appeared to buy the request by allowing it. Perhaps other Marshall's had been creamated or something. I never followed that case.
I'm almost sure it was The Insider (the one that's affiliated with ET, has Pat O'Brien as host).
LOVE that show. She's great.
Thanks, I can't keep up with all these shows!
Bless your heart.
What you offered us wasn't "the truth." It was your opinion.
At least be honest and admit that much.
Well,I watched it.. and the night before they were scheduled to read the jury verdict I couldn't sleep I was so nervous he would be acquited... I think it would be/could be said I was over involved in the case.
Would that be the Thompson/Ford family? They own that house don't they?
My next question is if he has to get out and can't find another place in the Bahamas then where will he go? Larry & Co better hurry.
What is it about?
Paternity Law May Work To Sterns Advantage
By Quincy Parker
The law of The Bahamas may work against Larry Birkhead, the ex-lover who claims to have fathered Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern with the late Anna Nicole Smith, in his challenge of the Bahamian birth certificate listing Howard K. Stern as the babys father.
Mr. Stern, whose only client as a lawyer has reportedly been the late Ms. Smith, claims to be the father of her daughter, who was born at Doctors Hospital in September 2006.
He claims to have been the late model/actress lover for some time.
Mr. Birkhead is one of four or five men who have either claimed to be the childs father or have had it claimed on their behalf.
According Mr. Birkhead, he is the real father of the baby girl, and Ms. Smiths and Mr. Sterns assertions that he (Mr. Stern) is the father are untrue.
However, the Status of Children Act 2002 seems to put the advantage in the affair squarely with Mr. Stern.
The law may, however, allow Mr. Birkhead some relief in terms of the ability to appeal.
Section 7(1)(d) of the Act makes the presumption that the father of a child is the person who was living with the mother in a relationship "of some permanence" at the time the child was born.
"Unless the contrary is proven on a balance of probabilities, there is a presumption that a male person is, and shall be recognised in law to be, the father of a child (if) the person was cohabiting with the mother of the child in a relationship of some permanence at the time of the birth of the child, or the child is born within 280 days after they ceased to cohabit," the law states.
As Ms. Smith and Mr. Stern had been living together in Horizons on the Eastern Road prior to the childs birth, and continued to do so up until Ms. Smiths unpredicted death, this seems to give the weight of Bahamian law to Mr. Sterns claim to paternity.
A subsequent section of the law, Section 7(1)(g), also seems to speak to the particular situation facing Messrs. Stern and Birkhead.
"There is a presumption that a male person is, and shall be recognised in law to be, the father of a child (if) the person has acknowledged in proceedings for registration of the child, in accordance with the law relating to the registration of births, that he is the father of the child," the law says.
Therefore, in Bahamian law, Howard K. Stern is the father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.
Section 12 of the Act allows for the court to vary or discharge the declaration of paternity "where evidence becomes available that was not available at the previous hearing."
Section 14 sets out the terms under which a blood test may be used to determine the parentage of a child.

Their new season (3) starts in something like June.
I have Season 1 on DVD...we've seen it several times...it's that good.
Season 2 (another winner) will be out on DVD soon and I'll buy that since I don't stay up late enough to watch it in real time.
I have watched them thru this case, but don't usually. It's really confusing to me because The Insider comes on at 3PM here on one station, then Inside Edition comes on at 3:30 PM on another station, then at 6:30PM, Entertainment Tonight shows the same thing as The Insider, but with extra stuff from the same video footage, lol.
I can't remember any of it 5 mins later unless I make notes.
It's about a woman who's a high ranking police official who has a bunch of people working for her, mostly men, but she manages to solve ALL the crimes.
Was anyone watching John Gibson on Fox News when he had Debra Opri on the phone? She says that HKS and LB have agreed to work together on the paternity issue? What do you think she meant?
The good Mr. Watkins has been reading too much Barbara Cartland.
I don't think it made any difference what happened today. judge had his mind made up and went through the motions today.
I think the judge cried hysterically after court ended and freaked everybody out. Then they decided to work together.
Probably that Howard will get his six percent of the money from Marshall's estate, if ANS side wins. Howard wants his money, not the baby.
All the last public interviews of ANS showed her remodeling another house there which they *said* she had bought.
However, I don't think I'll be *buying* any of their garbage anymore - any more than ANS or HKS bought that house they lived in most recently.
